Sword-shaping weapons, including but not limited to behemoths, are the tools by which such narratives are brought to bear: the stylus, the plot outline, and the moment of inspiration outside the gas station.
That first one could actually be Ring-shaping, depending on whether the lightning is coming from the weapon or the environment.
