Age: 39 (Though since the year 1526, he has physically aged at half-speed, making his physical age 31)
Description: Corrupted by the energy he absorbed after defeating Archel, Calamity has become unstable and extremely vengeful (well, he was before...) but to the point where he rationalises blatantly Evil actions as vengeance. However, he has a specific hatred for the Sovices and the UNA, for taking over his homeland. It's possible that he would ally with opposition to the UNA, but he would be a great danger to those around him, due to his unstability and ever decreasing loyalty.

Name: Erenthes Caytos

Race: Half Elf
Age: 347

Powers and Abilities: Erenthes has many talents. In addition to being extremely intelligent and having a near photographic memory, Erenthes is a low level scout, urban ranger and soulknife and (slightly) higher level duskblade and wizard. He fights primarily with his mindblade aided by magic, sometimes falling back to his Rayburn pistol, which has the ability to fire scorching rays. At times when he needs to take to the sky, Erenthes can call his griffon companion, Areiver to his side. Riding his griffon, he prefers to use his lance and swoop down on his quarry.
Although he seems a typical, two things have always seemed off about Erenthes. Although only a half-elf, he seems to have the vitality and longevity of his elven ancestors, that or some other enchantment. Second, spells cast on Erenthes tend to simply fail from time to time, seemingly increasing his strength. It isn’t really known why, perhaps it has something to do with his near agelessness too. (I might do some sort of flashback at some point for this one, either that, or leave you all to make an educated guess.)

How gritty is the story line going to be? What do you mean specifically by gritty? Atmosphere? Bars and lowlifes as well as unshaven faces? Or do we mean that characters are literally grittier (dirty)?

I hope it's fine that mine's not all that gritty seeing as he's not part of the resistance and is probably part of the 'happy' portion of the population.

Things are pretty bad for the resistance. A lot of them are going to be wounded or killed. As a member of the UNA, your character is fine the way he is.

UNA peacekeepers have blue helmets like in this picture and a Sovice block on their chest, although freelancers can choose to or not to wear that uniform.
