Re: ABR Discussion Thread XVI: Matters of Futures Imperfect
Let's consider advantages:
Salmon is much smaller than most of the other "good guys"
Salmon can fly automatically, making him more manouverable than most of the others
Salmon can poof Leroy anywhere he wants from anywhere
Threeshades has an extremely intimate knowledge of the Shades and how they tick. Lying has fought them twice before modern times, but Threeshades has lived with them in her body and her family bloodline.
Somehow those abilities must be incredibly useful in beating the Shades.

Still, I prefer this alternative:
There you go, no Shades.

Re: ABR Discussion Thread XVI: Matters of Futures Imperfect
Ah, but you have forgotten the 'off camera'. It is a camera which always misses someone whenever used. When you encounter the 'off camera' all you can do is sit down and wait for a better camera to come around. Or for the 'off camera' to miss someone else.
And Nameless, did you see the 'unexplained dead Mad Mask clone' writing?
Working on the followup comic where I finally rejoin the others. Try not to start the epic battle til then.Last edited by The Gremlin; 2009-01-04 at 01:02 PM.

Re: ABR Discussion Thread XVI: Matters of Futures Imperfect
That's just a little running gag Crimson, it started off when Nameless put Rand into a jar if I remember. Eventually the thread was being spammed with jar pictures so people got peeved and the jar has forever been banished from the discussion thread.

Re: ABR Discussion Thread XVI: Matters of Futures Imperfect
Avbaroy is not the Material Plane. Avbaroy is a planet very similar to Earth that resides in the Orion Arm. The "planes" are just sub-atomic portions of the universe that reside in the Galactic Core, were "souls" (sub-atomic conscious particles) go.
EDIT: And only sapient hominids have "souls". Most of them (more than (90%) go to the Abyssus (not the Abyss) and become crustacean-like creatures.Last edited by Mad Mask; 2009-01-04 at 01:46 PM.

Re: ABR Discussion Thread XVI: Matters of Futures Imperfect
There is no material plane. The "planes" are all part of the same universe as Avbaroy (they reside in the galactic core of the Milky Way). Else, how would you explain the Alternate Universes ?
EDIT: And it would be painfully ego-centric to declare that there are alternate realities just for the conscience of the descendants of amino-acids.Last edited by Mad Mask; 2009-01-04 at 01:51 PM.
