Ever have one of those ideas that just whacks over the head, rifles through your pockets, and leaves you bleeding in an alleyway?

I just had one of those. Working on my book when, after about two paragraphs, it just kinda hits me. It would require some not-so-drastic changes and probably some drastic changes and would force the book even further away from the source material.

I dunno, it just feels weird. Never had an idea just kinda hit like that...
