Re: Stealth & Intrigue, The Adventures of Salmiel
Selath grins fiercely as the lock opens, and begins pulling out equipment - first a knife, then a ring. The ring goes on his finger, and his free hand dips into his clothes again to pull out a wand.

Re: Stealth & Intrigue, The Adventures of Salmiel
Selash nods, his eyes on the guards.
SpoilerOkay, Selash is going to attempt to activate his Ring of Chameleon Power as a free action as soon as he gets out of the cell, primarily as a test to see if that gets him out of the AMF. If it works, he'll use the wand to cast Blur on himself. If not, he'll move up behind the guard that's fighting Peter, still hiding, and attack, using both the Mosquito's Bite skill trick.
Attack roll: (1d20+11)[18](29)
Damage: (4d6+11)[5][4][1][3](24)
Thanks to Mosquito's Bite, he doesn't notice taking the damage, assuming he's flatfooted against me.
Course, if he's not flatfooted against me, that attack does sod all squared in a bucket - my weapon does 1 damage, the 4d6+10 is all sneak attack.Quotebox

Re: Stealth & Intrigue, The Adventures of Salmiel
SpoilerOoh, critical threat.
Attack roll to confirm: (1d20+11)[17](28)
If successful,he takes another 11 damage, assuming flatfootedness.
If not flatfooted, he takes a grand total of 2 damage.
What are the odds that I got out of the antimagic field and hence used the wand instead of attacking, wasting that lovely crit?Last edited by Heliomance; 2009-01-13 at 06:01 PM.

Albert
A smile spreading across his face, Albert watches the events unfold before his eyes. He can hardly hold himself back as some of the other prisoners sneak out of the cell, but once the last one is out, he bursts through the open cell door with a childlike glee on his face. Once he reaches the point where the other's magic starts working, he points to the "freshest" looking recruit, the one who seems to have less experience. "It's alright, it was an honest mistake, I forgive you"
SpoilerAlbert will use Charm Monster on the newbiest looking guard. He has to make a will save vs DC 17 (19 if they didn't take the Headband, 21 if they didn't take to cloak.) or be charmed. Will be edited by Ryuuk : Sometime in the future.

The guards don't notice their prisoners escape, instead worrying over the rodent that had just gotten free and seemed to dissapear. The guards are all so engrossed in their "search", they don't even notice their comrades wound.

Right, then.
With weapons drawn and the opportunity for a peaceful solution far behind us, and without access to his mental powers, Julian decides that discretion is the better part of valor, and makes a quiet attempt to get to the door of the guard room and freedom. Or, at least, the heck out of here.
