As Masateru makes his way along the passage way, he finds hints of bodies strewn amomg the rocks, crushed by the tunnel's partial collapse. Though a group of what appeared to be soliders armored in some sort of flak and holding a strange looking rifle with a glass rectiule in the firing hole
"State your business." One of them asks Masateru teresly, as the others attend to the wounded amogst them.

"Sakura-chan, go find everybody, and tell them to get this cleaned up." The master said breathing deeply as the calmed himself in the eye of a storm of chaos.

Masateru Kimura

"Out for a stroll?" Masa's hands edge up into the air as he notices the rifle. "My head's a little bit muddled right now. Mind if I give you a better answer when I remember one?"

Taking care to keep the rest of his body very still, Masa angles his head towards the wounded men. "Do you need any help with them? I took a CPR course a few years ago."

And it will be too soon if I ever have to resuscitate Rescue Annie again. Or, for that matter, Anthony. I don't know why he kept passing out in my company.

"We only have minor injuries, thank the Emperor, so we can take care of ourselves. Luckily the earthquake only quashed the Chaos kill-squad that was coming inroads just a few moments ago." The tallest of them replied, as they began to relax.

"Squashed who to the what now?"

They've gotta be...reinactors or something. They look like they come from the future. So, preinactors? And what's this about an emperor? Maybe they're nationalists as well?

"Where are you guys from, anyways?"

[Talkkno]

"The 502nd Varsan rifles of the Imperial Guard. My name Kanas, me and my squad were fighting some sort of Chaos corrupted Iron men, under command of a Inquistor. They soon outmatched us however, and rather die needlessly. We all jumped into a mysterious green portal that has lead us here."

"Emperor...Akihito?" Masa hazards.

They really don't look like JSDF types. And what the deuce is an Inquisitor? Sounded like he pronounced it with a capital letter. Like it was an official title or something.

"Could you show me this portal?" He's not entirely sure he really wants to see it, but if there's some sort of cosmic ulcer spitting out historical reenactment buffs into the already deranged-psychotic-filled tunnels beneath the mansion, someone ought to be told about it.

Ryoko Kimura

Ryoko had followed Masa and saw him fall. Now she is standing around in shock. Why did things keep happening? Why did things keep happening to her brother?

The vampire tried to navigate down the stairs during an earthquake, clutching Makie tightly. "Don't worry..."She whispered.

"If I didn't do what she said, she'd kill me... then we'd all be in trouble." Orphan said, crossing her arms. "Who are you getting?" She asked quizzically, taking a step forward. She blushes as shes left alone with Optimism.

"Well.. uh... that's... complicated... you see..." Orphan presses her fingers together. "Asako has been alone a long time and... kind of... considers herself an orphan... with no family or friends or anyone who really likes her at all and she feels really bad about that... and, you know... shes really very shy to be nice to people for fear of being rejected and that is... kind of my whole thing... there..." She winces. "Not as bad as... well... like you... she knew her parents.... a long time ago."

[Kuma Da]

Masateru Kimura

"Just a few other personalities. Most of them keep to themselves these days, content to let pess and I take care of the major stuff." Optimism shrugs. "Masa isn't usually under so much stress."

When the Orphan blushes, Optimism immediately interprets that as shyness. "They're all a little bit, uh, eccentric, but they're nice enough once you get to know them." He tries to look winning after he says that, but his expression changes to sympathy as Orphan continue talking.

"Hey now," Optimism lays a comforting hand on her shoulder, "there's no need to go comparing pain, see who got the worse deal. Masa had it bad, sure. Parts of him still aren't healed. But he always had friends and Ryoko to look after. With centuries of no one to care for, it's no wonder Asako developed something like Vampire."

[Talkkno]

Asako manages to make it arcoss stairs without incident.

"Land mines?!"

Who built this place, seriously?

"Okay, fine. Point me in the right direction and I'll try to keep clear of that totally unnecessary field of explosives."

[Talkkno]

"Watch your mouth citizen, those are there for good reason, the servents of the Ruinous powers still lurk these tunnels. Do you need a escort?" He repilided, slightly annoyed by Masa's apperent ignorance.

Masateru Kimura

"Sure. Thanks. And if any of you guys need a place to rest and recover, there's an exit to the tunnel that way. Outside's this big mansion. You can chill there until you get better." Masa starts off in the direction of the portal. "Oh, and if this kid tries to kick you out--says it's his property--don't pay him any mind."

[Talkkno]

"Duly noted." He responded absent mindly as he went back to work, pointing the direction of the portal, that behind all the rubble, he could see a glimmer of something shiny.

[Kuma Da]

Masateru Kimura

Inexplicably, Masa feels himself drawn towards the portal. Picking his way over loose rocks and dirt, he approaches to within what he deems to be a safe distance and stares at the thing, studying it.

[Talkkno]

The portal floated in the air, as it glowed scarlet red, bubbling a light green mist emanated threw out its presence. It is about the size a normal person could walk threw, but not much else. It is not clear what lies beyond it but it seems to beckon to you to come foward as you look at it more.

Unreal. To think that something like it could actually exist…

He starts to take another step forward, then remembers the mines. Hovering an inch off the turned earth, his front foot freezes. He slowly pulls it back.

Maybe I better wait. Tell the kid about it first, then he can get the bomb squad and Stephen Hawking down here.

I wonder if they'll name it after me…

Masa heads back towards the mansion, dimly aware that there's still something there that he doesn't want to come in contact with.

Ryoko Kimura

Ryoko comes to her senses and goes into the kitchen where she last saw the master.

I can't remember if he is still there or not. Seems like this game has been mostly forgotten lately. I just don't know what to do right now.

"Ryoko-chan, as you can see, there is a huge mess here...mind help cleaning it up." The master repilded, somewhat impaitnetly, as no else seemed to hear his annoucement.

[Siren]

Ryoko Kimura

"I will try to clean it up, master. I don't know that I have the power to though. It is such a big mess."

Ryoko's eyes are wide at the mess. She gets started cleaning.

With great haste, the hours ticked as with broom and mop, Ryoko cleaned the mess with startling quality.
