Though you can't see the darfellen you notice that his chains go limp but you can still hear the motion of his gills working to process the water into oxygen for his lungs.

Spy Fight round 8
Dispite Talas and Leinad's best efforts they failed to lift the darfellen out of the water. Nocens popped out of the water to see the spectre still paralazyed.

Nocen spell fails as the spectre is finally free and flies at him with a eriee call of rage when he sees the wounded darfellen. His blade cuts into Nocen yet agian draining more of his power while it begins to gain an unholy glow around it's body.

The spectre ignores both Nocens wave of energy and the beam of cold cast by Leinad and swipes with it's sword into Nocens, draining a little of his health.

The spectre turns in anger as the acid spashs into it's whispy form. Shreaking in pain the spectre charges Leinad, but Leinad manages to dodge the spectal blade.

As Leinad tries to avoid the next attack from the spectre he fumbles and is desperatly reeling to remain standing. Nocens next spell manages to break though the spectre's will and it halts, returning to the enterance of the house.

The spectre is enraged by Leinad's attack and charges at him agian, ignoring Nocens' latest attempt to hide them from the spectre. The spetre's blade strikes true this time, and Leinad give an involentary gasp as he feels his life energy get absorbed into the spectre.

I am a bystander in all of this, I swear. I just learned something that the Swamp Snakes have been trying to find for months now. The Swamp Snakes just want what every other gang wants, to rule the entire city, the Gotrats are just their neighbor and thus their first enemy. The darfellen whispers back.
