No, a bunch of people just left. It's holding on by teh comics Q posts every now and then. The trouble is, most of teh characters are gone and nobody knows who else is in anymore.

I have an idea for a banner, foiled by my awful art:
"Join ABR! We have Kitten Vikings riding Giant Eagles!!!" (in the black block next to the picture)
(Picture is of a kitten viking, riding a giant eagle, wielding a huge greataxe and wearing a huge helmet. He is looking down, annoyed at some random annoyed ABRian like Yeril, SoG, or Rand.)
Other Guy: "Um, we don't actually have those."
Viking Kitten: "Shut. Up."
Anybody want to help this banner come to life?
Also, I'm working on a comic to reply to the Guy vs. Other People arc.

As the creator of Future Imperfect, I feel confident that I can answer your questions, should you have any.

Here is the standard information blob I give to anyone asking about this plot:

The year is 1541. Nearly all nations of Avbaroy are a member of the United Nations of Avbaroy, which has become increasingly close to being a world government. The Neo-Moon Elf Empire (The Shades' empire) is largely gone and the only opposition to the UNA is a small resistance group led by Igon Minoblendy, comprised mainly of Schizians and Guinoids.

The technology level is greatly unstable, as the traditional "medieval" methods are being replaced by Sovice technology. The standards of living have greatly augmented for UNA member states, but for the resistance, life is hard, as they have to resort to more "unethical" ways of getting food and water, such as raiding and stealing.

Things are going downwards for the resistance. Even if they have the Citadel of Bis Anu and several Schizian aircrafts, they are up against nearly all of the planet. Several members are starting to doubt the resistance's goals and attempt to join the "peace-oriented" United Nations of Avbaroy.

Worst still, Igon Minoblendy seems to have been rendered insane by some sort of Sovice poison. Even with all the effort of the Resistance, no cure has been found and, as such, Igon Minoblendy remains a figurehead.

Zerg: That may take as long as 3 months, due to the nature of ABR. I'd recommend joining another plot, since you may get bored waiting. P3 is essentially a clean slate; it's only about 100 comics long as of now.

Join whoever you like. I remember someone saying something about trying to get the same number of PCs on each side so that one doesn't completely whomp the other.

There is no such thing as PCs and NPCs in a collaborative web comic. What you mean is that Jakob is more like a major secondary character and Graham and Harrison are minor characters.

It is a pure coincidence that Laurasia of Avbaroy has the same name as the one on Earth. I just slammed several continent and country words to create the name of the continents on Avbaroy. Laurasia is L'Australia Asia.

Vampire maybe, but not Ninja Chocobo. Wasn't his quest to kill all undead or something like that? I think he even had swords enchanted with positive to hurt undead. (like I said, I read most of the prievious threads)
