Re: Avatar Battle Royale Discussion Thread XVIII
You should have stayed with us, VampireRot. I don't assume a vampire can drink blood/dominate a mechanical creature composed of countless nanomachines ?
And we have rocket boots, although they are a bit unstable.
No, it's Australie, or l'Australie. I said L'Australia because the "l'" makes Aurasia different from Eurasia.Last edited by Mad Mask; 2009-03-01 at 08:21 PM.

He can't drink the blood of/dominate mechanical creatures, but he can hit them with a large axe and/or shoot them with a shotgun.
Rocket... Boots... I miss my rocket boots.
... What!? When did this happen!? And which one is it? (Garlic, stakes, or holy water?)

Re: Avatar Battle Royale Discussion Thread XVIII
Why do you have to assume that I did it on purpose? It's even worse.
The 'reason' I do it is because a while ago I accidentally added it to the dictionary. Ever since, I've been stuck saying teh instead of the. So quit giving me crap over it! It's a difficult habit to break!
/\No, he just made it up on the spot to be obnoxious. It's a pretty common thing for immature people to do.
"No, see, I DID have a bilver longsword!"
Sorry if this comes off as very over-reacty, I'm kinda mad about MM's whining.Last edited by The Gremlin; 2009-03-01 at 08:38 PM.

Re: Avatar Battle Royale Discussion Thread XVIII
SP has presented me with a problem. How to make a cute little penguin sinister. Why do midget penguins have to be so darn cute all the time!
@Rot: Anti-vampire guns could have all 3.

I think we already have an admiral and general and whatnot. But you could be a captain in the peackeepers, army, or navy.
Alternatively, be a ghost. Part of my super cool organization of badass spellcasters.

Wait what side is that on and what does the costume look like?
If not i was thinking of being some sort of Special Services for UNA or something like that.

Re: Avatar Battle Royale Discussion Thread XVIII
The ghosts are UNA. A secret branch, only the top dogs of the UNA know about it. Essentially, at one time, there are eight ghosts and one phantom.
Here's what they look like, note that if you make a ghost you can totally replace one of these dudes. Just not enchantment (antoine)

Re: Avatar Battle Royale Discussion Thread XVIII
Sure. They tend not to use modern tech, but then again... most tend not to torture people, something Antoine does quite often. Alternatively, he can shoot a high powered beam of magic from a gun shaped object, if I feel like being nitpicky. But feel free to go nuts with it.

I guess I'll do an invoker/divination person if thats the case .
I'll see if i can try and use inkscape to draw him later. Though it may not be good at all.

Remember, you can make him look like whatever you want. So long as he has a glowing tattoo somewhere, and that his eyes are darked out. That's something they all have for some arbitrary reason (I did it cause it looks cool).

Re: Avatar Battle Royale Discussion Thread XVIII
Mmmmaybe. If you want to make one, feel free to replace any of the guys above, except divination or enchantment. Those ones are claimed. And the phantom, who is in charge of them all. I just finished drawing him the other day... I'll upload him when I can get to my art computer.

Re: Avatar Battle Royale Discussion Thread XVIII
I object to this! These 'ghosts' are certainly not UNA! They have been found to use criminal methods such as torture, which contravenes many UNA edicts!
What's that? They get a UNA paycheck?
Well then obviously they were planted by the Resistance, and will be charged with conspiracy.

That is crimethink, citizen! This matter belongs to jurisdiction of UNIA, and you need not bother yourself with it. Now move along.
No?

Wait, when did this happen. Why wasn't I informed?! And aren't rocket boots a bit too techy? Although I suppose some kind of heavily armored iron boot with a light light light explosive charge on the bottom could work.. to an extent.

To question a senior officer is a breach of regulations, mercenary! Consider yourself dismissed from service.
Which means you get to design the Peacekeeper dress uniform. :P
And not many people are higher up than you, most people on the UNAs side are Mercs, and so below you. Lyle and Ins are the only PCs higher than you.

Re: Avatar Battle Royale Discussion Thread XVIII
I have a question, what is the currency that is used in Avorboray? Is it just copper, gold, and platinum like D&D? Or is it something else? Do different countries use different forms of currency?
EDIT: I typed Avatar Battle Royale wiki in google and I got 3 pictures of mudkip and 1 picture of carrotcake...Last edited by VampireRot; 2009-03-02 at 08:56 AM.

Re: Avatar Battle Royale Discussion Thread XVIII
Bloody mercenaries, can't fight for the good and peace of the world without a paycheck.
Technically, Karen Dewey is the highest ranking "player character", being a Fleet Admiral and all, but she's in a different branch than most of the other characters.

Re: Avatar Battle Royale Discussion Thread XVIII
I had an idea about an international currency pictured in this poster:
It's the T with a bar in the middle, called the Unita. It is being slowly implemented into the world, kinda like the Euro in the European Union, but on an international scale. This takes a lot more work, and the old currencies are still legal, but vanishing.
