My bed does not look tempting for two reasons:
1) It's a mess because I haven't "made my bed" today.
2) I really can't be bothered with an afternoon nap today.

I have a bedtime. 10pm except for Fridays, then I wake up at about 7am each morning, except for weekends when I don't wake up until after 9.30am. So I usually get at least 9 hours of sleep.
I need my sleep though, I get cranky when I don't get enough sleep. E.g. A person drops a pencil and I rip their freaking head off.

Not too much different to me then. I usually go to bed around 11pm on Friday and Saturday night. Then I'll wake up between 9.30am and 11.30am.

Sleep, the way that human beings and the like recuperate their bodies through rest, thus enabling them to do the tasks they are set during the day. Without sleep the being most likely dies.

The only time I've ever gotten up at 3.30am was the summer of 2008 when I went to Florida. We usually got up at about 5.30am over there. Sleep was weirdly unecessary in Florida.

You know, I can't fathom people who get up super early, even when they need to.

I know it's probably acquired, but some part of losing that much sleep bothers me on an elemental level.

Actually, they usually just de-caf them enough so that they can legally say there's no caffeine, but they actually still have a teeny-tiny percentage of caffeine. It's not like drinks that never had any caffeine in them. Kinda like Beer without Alcohol.

...........water's mostly free of Caffeine, though.

I have to be at work by 5:00am.. about 30 minutes before my plant kicks up. I have to field peoples 'I can't come into work because blah blah blah' calls and write down their info... It's a human resources/secretarial position.

But after hair and make up and making sure I look snazzy and driving 35 minutes to work... I have to get up an hour and a half early.

Yeah I knew they have trace amounts of Caffeine in the drinks but not enough to get all bothered about.

I'll stick to my water and my crystal light on the go thingies.

My morning usually goes like this: Switch off alarm clock, then roll over to the other side of the bed and switch off the OTHER alarm clock (two alarms or else I won't get up, ever), get up, go into shower, fall asleep IN shower, while standing, get out, realize how late it is, TRY to get breakfast, run out to the bus stop, and get to school. All this takes..... 2 hours.

*sigh* OK, people who are or have been in college.....opinion on living off-campus?

If at all possible, should at least try for living on campus for the experience of it. Don't have to for the duration or anything, but... I wouldn't know half the people I do or have nearly as many friends or enemies if I hadn't lived on the freshman hall.

Off-campus commuters get disengaged more easily and have a harder time getting connected to the university community, which is why it's required to live on campus your first two years at my school. Also, money, but it does seem to be the case, as about half of the people I know who snuck into off-campus living arrangements have ended up dropping out or transferring.

I used to do that all the time. Had to set the alarm clock an hour early because I'd keep hitting snooze without realizing it etc.

Now I set my alarm clock on the other side of the room and bound out of bed to go shut it off, then I have to force myself not to jump back into bed. It's a hard mental struggle but I usually win out.

Wouldn't know about the campus thing, I went straight to work after HS.

7am: Alarm goes off on Watch. Get up, go downstairs and have breakfast.
7.15: Finish breakfast, brush teeth and brush hair. Have shower.
7.30: Go get dressed.
7.40: Ready bag for school.
7.45: Sit there and watch Tv.
8.20: Walk to school.
8.25 to 8.30: Arrive at school.
8.45: School "officially" starts.
