Getting bored, Haru left to find the shark tank on his own.

Roland

"Sure, Ai..." Roland mutters shyishly to her, following her and totally looking like a snob to the new girl. He is just shy, really. "So, Ai, sweetheart, I'm back to normal, and I really wanted to talk... can we go back to your room?"

[Siren]

With the Kitty

The kitties note says:

I am a lonely orphan kitty, please take care of me. You have to hate Haru to keep me though.

Near the Shark Tank

The shark tank is covered inside with green algae. It is hard to see how many sharks are in there through it. There is a sign that says wetsuits and a bin full of them. There is also a scrub brush. If there is anything else you need, the door to the kitchen is right near the tank. Hooker should be able to help you.

Ai's Room

"Roland, sweetie, I would much prefer going to your room. I haven't seen it yet."

Ai is trying to block her room from view.


Outside the ship

Everyone on the ship suddenly hears singing. The voice is one that no one has heard besides Akane and Ai.

Haru paused as he heard a someone singing. "Good lord, that's worse than Ai's singing!"

Haru shrugged and examined the shark tank. "Wetsuits? Pffftt. As if I'm going to get wet."

Haru struck a bold pose. "I don't need no stinkin' brush, all I need is three chords and the truth!"

Haru pointed at the water. "And the truth is that if Ai took all her toys, turned them to the highest setting, and dumped them in here, we wouldn't have this problem! I mean, Roland can hardly be satisfying her, so she's probably got enough to cause an earthquake!"

"It's too bad I don't have a surf band and some kicking amps with me; that'd make this a lot easier." Haru unslung his guitar. "It's time for a little tsunami action! Hold on to your tailfin, Bruce, cause we're gonna WIPEOUT!"

Haru began laying down notes in a furious frenzy, building up a sonic attack that should agitate the tank... and probably rock the whole boat, too. What fun!

At the Shark Tank

The sonic attack breaks the shark tank. Shards of glass and sharks coming rushing towards Haru. The sharks appear to be very angry. Nearby rooms have glasses break. The camera watching Haru breaks as well.

Haru gets cut and bitten some. The glass chunks that come near him appear to be quite thick, not substandard at all.

"What the hell is a cat doing on a boat!?" He stares from the note to the cat and back again. "I'm not ready for this kind of commitment! Unless..."

He imagines the cat following him around, both of them looking equally adorable as girls swoon around and come over to pet the cat but stay for the his sex appeal.

Then he realized that he needed to see what it's gender was. He looked uncomfortable as he bent down and lifted up the cat's tail. He stared at its genitals.

With the Kitty

The cat is a girl. The cat seems to take offense at him looking at her genitals though. She pulls her tail away and threatens him with her paw.

Haru Narita

Haru staggers out of the shark tank room, cut and bleeding.

"Damn. What a show."

[Tichrondrius]

Roland

"Of course, Ai.. are you okay?" He asks, concerned, before taking her hand and leading them both to his room.

[Siren]

Ai

"Yes I am ok. I will be even more ok when we are closer to your room. What do you want to talk about anyway?"

Haru walked into the kitchen. "Hooker? What's the protocol for escaped sharks?"

[Siren]

In the Kitchen

Hooker thinks for a minute.

"I think that means that tonight the special will be shark fin soup."

Hooker starts to change the menu.

"If you could start hauling the sharks in here."

[Neon Knight]

Haru Narita

Haru grinned at Hooker. "Girl, I like the way you think."

Haru got to it.

Haru awkwardly grabs the sharks and takes them into the kitchen. Some of them are bigger than him after all.

"Thank you, Haru. I will explain things to Miss Ai for you. Just avoid her for a while so I have a chance."

"Alright. Thank you, Hooker." Haru went to the prow of the ship to talk to some seagulls, or something.

"Did I say mad?" she wondered aloud, soothingly. "I meant a totally normal doctor on board a cruise ship while chained up. That's not weird at all."

"Well, I think everyone has quarters in the same area, so probably near my room," Gunter continued thoughtfully. She was used to unreasonable demands; she worked for Ai, after all, who - despite being delightful in many respects - was ruled entirely by whim.

"I'm totally serious, I can break bullet proof glass with my guitar."

"I'm not lying. Look, what the hell do you know about harmonics?"

"Bull. I'm a freakin' musical assassin. I know more about killing people with sound than you do."

Squawk.

"Look, go below deck and look for yourself."

"What!?! No, Hooker won't cook you."

Squawk.

"Hey, buzz off."

Haru sighed. Bloody seagulls. He would kill for a crow or blackbird to talk to. Hell, he'd even talk to an owl or a songbird if he had too. Just not these blasted seagulls.

"Hey! Is there an albatross circling around here?"

[Tichrondrius]

Roland

"Ai.. you're a mermaid... and you never told me." Roland started, getting back to his room easily enough. "Well, I'm okay with that. I love you." He said, taking her hand. "I just want to know what this means for us. Will you go back to the sea? ...a place I can't follow you?"

[Siren]

Ai

"Well I don't know if I am going to go back to the sea. I haven't lived there in so long. It isn't like I have to live there. We could be together on land, maybe."

Also Tich, if you beat up Pant Sass earlier wouldn't he still be in your room somewhere? You should probably explain better what happened there.

Roland sighed with relief. "I was worried..." He offered, looking at her, and sitting on his bed. The crumpled body of Pant Sass was on the other side of the bed, vaguely obscured. "Well, you told me your secret, I suppose I should tell you mine... Ai, I'm, uh... a Werewolf."

Yes. Orika begins walking behind Gunter to her room. She jabs a needle into Gunter's back. Faster!

Ai starts looking worried while thinking about Roland eating all the guests.

"What? Would you rather I not look and just name you Bob or something?" Youko picks the cat up by the scruff of her neck and tosses her to the bed, then sits in a chair and watches her. "What do I call you?"

After a moment of thinking, he says, "Shanaynay." He begins laughing at the poor cat.

Haru sat on the edge of the deck, strumming his guitar.

How he managed to duplicate the sound of an entire rock and roll band with one acoustic guitar was left up to the listener to figure out.

Akane felt as though her mind was absent from her body for a long time. She became aware of her surroundings all of a sudden, and she found herself sitting dumbly on her bed. She looked around vacantly, how much time had past? She looked over at her alarm clock, it had only been ten or fifteen minutes, this felt pretty odd.

She abruptly heard a voice singing from somewhere on the ship.
