I am not a villain. I knew the Pondshadow thing would come back to bite me, but I think a villain pointing at someone is scant evidence of anything. The only other thing making me suspicious is that I'm "Hard to read" or whatever. Very scant evidence again.

But you know what, it doesn't matter. I pointed at Pondshadow yesterday which means that today I get 3 votes. So I can prove that I am a good guy by pointing at Mordokai.

No villain role gives extra votes. The voting is currently 7-3 in favour of lynching me, which becomes 7-6 after my vote. If two people remove their votes then the only way I can survive is if I am telling the truth and am not a villain.

So please, give me the chance to prove myself. If I am a lying villain then I will die anyway, because 5 is more than 4.

It's not so much that you're "hard to read", it's that Mordokai is usually balls easy to read. (no offense, Mordy.) When he's evil, he's evil. He's active, and involved, and attempting to manipulate the thread the best way he can, through PM and publicly. All he's really done this game is that plea post that he is also not a villain.

Sonic, Game and Watch, Phoenix Wright, Sephiroth, there's a number of roles that can affect this outcome regardless of how we manipulate the voting.

Basically it's not so much that I'm convinced you're guilty as I'm convinced of Mordokai's innocence. If he's playing possum, he's been doing it all game and pretty effectively too.

Personally, I have someone I think is more suspicious than the both of you... but it's a little late to get a switch started.

Okay, I thought about this a bit before I made my original post, but I cut it down to make the post less unwieldy.

The other point affecting roles are under the command of the villagers. It is in their best interest to make this a "pure" vote. Either I am a lying bad guy who is dead or I am a truth telling villager who is alive. No losses for team villager either way by making it a pure vote.

If Mordy has a vote influencing vote, and uses it then he will probably survive, but in that case either of us dying is bad.

Sephiroth has to send in their control before the day phase. I don't think either myself or Mordokai have been particularly high profile, so I don't think the odds of someone being controlled to influence a possible vote between us is a very likely scenario.

The big hole in this is that it relies on people paying attention, and playing optimally. Nobody does that. I know I don't do that, so I can't really fault other people for it. If I'm wrong and people are using vote affecting powers, then I die. But all I'm asking for is a fighting chance, and at the moment it looks like I have that. I read the count as 7 Mordokai and 6 for me. If I'm telling the truth, Mordy is dead.

How about if just beg? Please please please please just give me a fighting chance at this. Let me use my useless rubbish ability that has left me half heartedly following bandwagons all game in it's one chance to shine. Don't bandwagon me based on nothing and give me no fricking chance.

The argument was fierce and heated that day, with the crowd split between the two suspects, Selrahc and Mordokai. Each brought up points and counterpoints, and the debate raged into the afternoon. Finally one of the heroes stepped forward and called time-out.

"This is getting us nowhere! I know, let's settle this the way we always settle our differences!"

"With a fight?"
"No, that's not what I was thinking of..."
"With a dance-off?"
"A board game?"
"A sports game?"

"No, none of those, what I meant was-"
"Sudden-death Boggle?"

"No, not that I'm thinking of..."



"...Kart Racing!"

It wasn't long before a course was scratched out, items laid out, and two Karts rigged up out of spare parts. The two racers waited at the starting line for Peach (or at least someone looking like her) to drop the flag. The countdown started and soon they were off with the announcer calling the race.

"And the racers are off on the new Midair Stadium course! They seam to be neck and neck with Mordokai just ahead! They're past the the rubble field, and through the collapsing pillars without a scratch! There's some bumping and bashing going on, but Mordokai has the lead! But what's this? Selrahc is trying some trickery with some banana peels, throwing them at Mordokai! One of them hits! Mordokai spins out and Selrahc takes the lead! Around the hairpin turn they go and they hit the nitro strips! Whoa, a close call for Selrahc there, almost falling off the track there, but he recovers beautifully! The racers are close again and heading into the narrow corridors... and Mordokai pulls out some green shells and sends them bouncing after Selrahc!
A great choice given how they ricochet. Red shells would have smashed against the walls in this tight section. And yes! They crash into Selrahc's kart, one after the other and Mordokai takes the lead! They're heading towards the final stretch! Can Selrahc catch up?! He's driving well, but it seems that Mordokai has too much of a - what's this? Selrahc just got an item and is hurling it in Mordokai's direction!



My oh my! It's a blue shell, and it's speeding towards Mordokai! But he's near the finish, will it get there in time? Yes! It explodes on contact, sending him flying into the air... and RIGHT into the lava pit! Wow, what a stroke of bad luck for Mordokai! Selrahc zooms by and wins the race! And it looks like Mordokai's goose is cooked in more ways than one! Let's see if Lakitu can fish the trophy out of that burning mess..."

As the sun set, Master Hand appeared in order to take the trophy away, flipping another badge to the crowd. There was a cheer as yet another Villain's sigil was revealed.

If Sephiroth is alive, then my triple point will probably be stolen by the villains, so this ma turn out to be a pyrrhic victory but I am immensely relieved that despite everything, I managed to survive.

They hid as their victim approached in the night, looking for something or another... he never found it, as the Villains jumped out and blasted poor Duos into another dimension.

In the darkness, two different people were converging on their target, when out of the darkness barreled a great ape. With speed unusual for his size, Donkey Kong pounded on Shadowcaller and Dirk Kris until they were buried up to their neck in the ground, seeing stars.

In the morning, Duos' trophy was found with an expression of pure frustration on his face. When the sun rose, Master Hand came and took away the trophy, and dropped something different. A 3rd Party badge.
