Honestly, what could've possibly made facebook think it was a good idea to implement a voting+commenting system on the new layout?

@Coidzor: I picked the name "Valencia." Felix's name, meaning something along the lines of happiness and luck, struck me as ironic because he's clearly unlucky. Valencia has a meaning along the lines of "courageous," so I might make her a meeker character to contrast with her name. That, and I can make puns about Spain and oranges.

As far as server issues go, couldn't we just get a better server? Or is that not possible? My knowledge regarding how the he'll the Internet actually works is kind of lacking. Even though I saw the guy who invented the world wide web try to explain it. Yes, I have seen Sir Tim Burners Lee. He lives in the same town that I do.

The old layout was less cluttered, in my (very) humble opinion. But I really like the filters.

Y'know, my mom taught at a college in Florida named Valencia for awhile. For the obvious oranges connection, I think.

Um, the filters to the top left of the Facebook homepage. The default is 'News Feed', and under that there's probably 'Public Profiles' and 'Photos' and whatnot. They're nifty, and have Rissy's stamp of approval.

P.S. I think there should be a little interrobang smiley or something of the like that we can insert at the end of sentences.

Didn't the old version ask "What are you doing?" ...I always thought that's what it said.

I miss the formality of the old version--it made me think twice before posting something I might regret later. I don't really know why the formality made me cautious.

I realize that I bitched and moaned about the first Facebook change and then I stopped when I got used to it. That will probably happen again. Right now it's really busy and crowded, and I just don't like it. As Rose Dragon said, if I wanted Twitter I would have signed up for Twitter.
