Colin puts the car in park, gets out, and throws the flare into the puddle of gas back at the gas station, before getting back into the car and driving further away.

You missed. Someone try again. Ricky shouts out from cover behind a ruined car. He looks and listens to see if there are anymore zombies in the area apart from the obvious.

"No! The gas'll spread and it'll catch on the flare!"

(With a miss, the flare will land in an adjacent square, so since the gas is pooling and has a constant source, eventually it'll catch anyway...but this will give those close to the station more time to get away.)

"Get back in and get us out of here." He taps Colin's shoulder to get his attention.

Colin gets back in the car and drives slowly away from the gas station, waiting for the earth shattering kaboom. He deliberately goes just a little bit faster than the zombies, but slow enough that any of the survivors can keep up with the car.

Ricky starts moving away from his cover moves away from the petrol station but still towards the car. He moves in a direction where the car will be in a few moments. He tightens the straps on his bag and puts his baton through his belt. Once he meets up with the car he will run along side it.

OOC: I'm assuming riding my bike was successful, as I've heard nothing about it.

Curtis will attempt to get into the car, handing his bike to [insert on-foot player name here].

OOC- I'm gonna need everyones distance from the gas station before their next moves.

OOC: Alongside/in the car.

(OOC: Well I am running to the position where the car will be in like 2 rounds so I am moving away from the gas station and away from the zombies.)

Ricky pumps his legs, sweat running down his face, not from the effort but from the stress of the zombies. His adrenaline flows through his veins energising him in case of a fight.

OOC: Josh is about 70 feet from the gas station i believe.

The car should be anywhere between 100ft away and 150 ft, depending on how long the gas takes to catch. I'm deliberately running a little slow to let the rest of the obvious humans keep up.

I'm in the Car.

The lit flare shatters as it hits the ground, spreading burning sparks of gunpowder closer to the pumps. The gas lights quickly and burns hot. It makes its way towards the pumps, moving in an even circle. As the fire creeps toward the pumps, the spitter begins coughing again, it hurls a powerful bullet at the car, which ricochets off and hurls into one of the pumps. The pump bursts open and a powerful stream of gas heads straight towards the fire. It catches and the fire runs up the stream into the underground tank...


BOOM
KABOOOM!


The fire causes the gas pumps to explode and break open the main tank under that. As flaming shrapnel works its way down, it sets of a second explosion in the main tank under the station. The explosion rends open the ground and a wave of flame engulfs the zombies and Markus. The car, further away, is able to avoid most of the damage, but several large chunks of concrete toward their area.


Whomever is driving must make a DC20 drive check to avoid crashing the car. I have to roll a DC20 reflex save to avoid taking 3d6 of fire damage. The zombies are now on fire, except for two which were crippled by shrapnel and one which was killed.

Ricky dives to the ground and puts his hands over his head as the massive explosion rocks the area. Ricky looks up at the gigantic fireball. "Holy Sh*t!"

Despite being prepared for the blast, and moving extremely slowly and in a straight line away from the gas station, Colin is somewhat taken aback by the size of the explosion, as well as it's rapidity.

"Jesus Effin Keerist!" the big man says, as he attempts to keep the car going in a straight line.

Markus dives to the ground, covering his head as the explosion ripples through the air.

The fire singes Markus, he screams in pain as his life is snuffed out.

Ricky

Ricky sees Markus scream out in pain before lying limp, dead on the ground. Oh no... Ricky whispers his voice not carrying out above the raging fire. Ricky begins to pick himself up off the ground and looks around to see where everyone else is.

Josh stops and looks at markus's dead body running over to see if there is any chance he'll live, and he grabs his shotgun... Only if the zombies are sufficiently far enough away though. NO!

Moments after his death, Markus springs up and begins sprinting towards the car. On his way he snatches up a branch and lights it on another Zombie. He reaches it within seconds and throws himself through the back window. He cackles as his body hurls into the car. He picks up a shard of glass to stab the nearest person.

Josh watches Markus in horror and shouts:" LOOK OUT!" Not Good Not Good Not GOOD! Josh's mind races and he looks to see if Markus left his gun on the floor. If he did Josh Picks it up. Music Begins to play in his head: Let the bodies hit the floor let the bodies hit the floor!

Assuming Markus doesn't kill me first, I'll attempt to stab him with my knife.

The Berserker easily dodges the attacks against him and strikes with a swift flail of his limbs strikes with each of his weapons

Ricky sees the previously dead Markus just get up and sprint towards the car. Oh no not another one. He begins to run towards the car to help any of the survivors he can. "Get out of the car!" he shouts out. "This is insane" He says to himself a cold sweat forming from fear as he prepares himself for 'fight or flight'.
