Harumi

Here, squeaks Harumi, it'll go faster if I help! Not content with her roommates pace, she begins stripping the "American" of her garments and forcibly dressing her in her designated costume. Soon Apple is clothed in a traditional made outfit, save that the aesthetics are pink and yellow.

Somehow during the flurry of undressing, Harumi herself wound up in a similar-looking outfit, save that the trimmings are blue and violet.

This is amazing! You look great in it! And now we're ready to face the world! Why don't we go look for the Sensei who punished you to see if I can get you out of detention, and also find Ume so she can help us recruit more members for the Cosplay Club?

Harumi turns to the window, looking quite puzzled. She glances helplessly at Apple. Should we... get that?

[Siren]

Apple Pie

Apple looks at the bat from the doorway.

"I don't really want a dirty bat in our room."

[Shades of Gray]

The bat looks annoyed. It raises his head up slightly, and shows that it is wearing a purple collar that says "Gyousei" on it.

[Siren]

Apple Pie

"Sorry Mr. Bat I don't know you. I have never been friends with a bat. I don't know why you are trying to get in. Use the door downstairs."

Harumi

Harumi looks relieved. And... I'm no good with rodents. Let's go!

Leaving the bat stranded outside, she takes Apple by the hand and goes to look for Ume as well as Katashi-Sensei. She leaves prepared with a store bought muffin.

The bat is disappointed, it will fly back around to the entrance to the dorms, waiting for the girls there.

Apple Pie

Apple looks down when Harumi takes her hand. She smile a big smile.

"I finally feel like I really have a Japanese friend. Oh should I change my hair to go with the outfit?"

Apple's hair is still up in five ponytails.

Muffy

Muffy returns to the red dorm after an exhaustive search.

Didn't find the missing girls, but I now know the campus like the back of my hand, which is one of the reasons I set out - and I've probably figured out every place you could dump a body here.

Muffy should notice a bat with a purple collar standing in the entrance to the dorm. The name on the collar is Gyousei. It looks at the slayer, it is hanging upside down. In daylight. Odd.

Harumi

Harumi yanks a matching bonnet over Apple's head without missing a beat, concealing her bizarre hairstyle. Oddly enough, aside from the fact that she's now dressed as a maid, Apple's appearance has been subtly altered to make her blend in with the other girls. It would be impossible for anyone to suspect that she was a foreigner.

Until she opened her mouth, anyway.

The two head over to Ume's dorm room first to see if she's in. If not, they'll go looking for Atsuko.

Ume's room is empty. The stuff is unpacked though. As well as a cage usually used for bird hangs from the ceiling. The door to the cage is open.

Apple Pie

"It looks like she isn't home. What do you want to do now?"

Apple keeps touching the bonnet like it is weirder than her previous hairstyle.

Muffy

Muffy goes out into the common area and looks to see if she can find one of the teachers to offer her assistance to.

The bat will follow Muffin. Odd.

Harumi

Harumi's large white ribbon droops in disappointment, as though it were a living part of her body. We'll stick to the original plan then. She leads Apple into the common room in search of Atsuko, at which point they run into Muffy.

Hi Senpai!

Muffy

Muffy smiles, "Greetings. Are you settling in all right?" She notices the bat flying around, "Who's is that?"

[Siren]

Apple Pie

"Hi Mr. Bat. Did you wait by the door like I told you to? You are a good listener aren't you? What do you like to eat? I should get you a treat for listening."

Apple holds a hand up for the bat.

Gyousei

The bat will bite said hand. Duh.

Muffy

Muffy will strike the bat that is attacking Apple with a chop from the side of her hand.

Apple pulls out what looks like a toy gun and shoots the bat with it.

"You are very dumb bat. You can go to hell."

The bat will be vaporized (If this is her real ray gun) or just knocked out (If it isn't)

Harumi's eyes widen when the bat attacks, but when Apple pulls out her gun she panics. Apple-kun, no, Japan has very strict gun laws! She spreads out her hands and leaps in front of the barrel, blocking Apple's line of fire.

[Siren]

Apple Pie

Out of the gun comes water. Harumi gets squirted in the face since she got in the way.

"You are against training animals by squirting them with water? You Japanese are so weird."

Since everyone is so upset I go with plan B. Also since when does anything die in Maid? I think the bat would just be stunned, but whatever.

Rin and Mio were greeted by... Takashi. He gave Rin a nod of approval. "Excellent. You have found her."

Takashi looked down at Mio with a look that he thought conveyed stern command but really just intimidated the girl, who unconsciously stepped a little closer to the comforting presence of Rin. “I’m s-sorry for my lateness, Sensei.” Mio bowed to Takashi politely.

"You should take greater care to be punctual in the future." Mio quailed a little, clearly taking the comment as a rebuke.

Meanwhile, Atsuko approached Muffy, Harumi, and Apple. "Oh, my, what is this? It looks like fun! Apple, please clean up any puddles you make with that, alright?

"It was not entirely her fault, teacher."
Begins Rin, trying not to sound like she is rebuking Katashi- her tone is level and informative, as if she just wants to clarify the situation.
"There were two boys harassing her outside. If I hadn't shown up, there might have been more problems than her being late.
"One of their names was Katsurou. I'm afraid he might try something rash since I interfered..."

[Neon Knight]

Katashi's eyebrows raised slightly. "I see. I suppose you could not help it then." Mio look up at Rin gratefully. "I would recommend that both of you be careful if you leave the school grounds. This "Katsurou" is probably a delinquent, and he may be capable of anything." Mio nodded, her eyes wide.

"Rin, if you would show Mio her room and go over the basics of the dorm rules, I would be very grateful. I have to prepare for classes tomorrow."

Rin bobs subserviently and then turns to Mio.
"Come along then. I'll get you settled in. I think you're in... left hallway. Yes, here it is."
Rin stops at the fifth room.
"I'm just a little ways away- room three, see?"
She points out her own room.

The bat is then karate chopped. It falls to the ground, and the collar shows once again, with the tag.
