True, but every game for the better teams isn't hard... Like in the SEC, every team and every game is tough. Instead of 3 giants of the Big 12, the SEC and AFC both are filled with great teams... It's more competitive, In my opinion. , but I mean that's not to take away from the Big 12, because as you said they're really well coached, and fans are probably 10000x as loyal as them Floridians .

Ironic that dating would come into fashion at about the time that women were given the right to vote in the US...

@Mrmud: That may be true, I don't particularly follow too many of the other conferences. I mostly cover the Big 12 and the PAC 10.

Being Australian, and not having Pay TV, I have little to no experience with Grid Iron, though I've had a lot of fun playing the beach variety.

My mate works in TV/radio, and he started barracking for the Philadelphia Eagles when he was over in the States doing a shoot. I've been watching games with him and ever so slowly picking up the sport.

Still not sure why you guys need all that body armour though.

Apologies if you are talking about a different 'league' or whatever than the Philly Eagles are in though.

Philly Eagles are in the NFL which is the professional league over here in the states Loop. We were talking college, but yeah eagles games are always fun to watch...

TwoBit, Yeah I tend to follow the Big 12 more than anything else (save for Navy which is... different...). AFC and SEC are exciting, but way over hyped to be fun. Like the New England Patriots !

It's also a reaaally ugly cat, if that helps at all.

None of these things are things I want! Funnily enough a house that smells like urine is not high on my wish list at the moment (that goes for both puppies and marking territory)

The look on the cat's face the first time you spray them with water is always exquisite.

You get a similar effect if you haven't sprayed them in a while.

No need to discuss ironic with me, dearest DeeRee. I spent a long time studying it.

I was using it in a more modern colloquial sense. While it may not be technically correct, is in wide-enough usage to be correct on a different level.

I have a friend that hates ehen people use the word "bizarro" in spanish to say that something is strange or wierd because the original meaning of the word was brave or courageous, buy that was about 200 years ago, seriously, I wonder if there's people out there complaining about how nobody speaks latin anymore.

It's great that they are introducing great string music to those that like rap, but the rap in that song ruins it.

This on the other hand is a great rap song, and thats saying a lot as I don't like (c)rap.

Only rap song I've ever really enjoyed was this one, at the end of Penny Arcade Adventures: On the Rain-Slick Precipice of Darkness.

I have a certain aversion to the genre, and not just because it tends towards unsavory content. I guess it's just not my bag.

Is there anyone, anywhere who dislikes that song? I've seen lots of people say that it's a great rap song. That includes me. I've never heard one person dislike it. (now of, course, someone will). I like rap more than most people around me, but a lot of it is just so overdone.
