Ok, so this sucks. Out of my 650+ flash files on my old computer, I managed to send >1< over to this working one. Which happened to be my template sheet, so at least I can start over with the drawing easily enough. But I don't have freakin' anything else over here. All my avys that I didn't upload to Photobucket are gone, scripts I've been writing have poofed, and all my mp3s have been lost in time and space.

No idea what's going on with that old comp, at first the backlight thingamabobadoodle on the screen went kaput which wasn't that big of a deal.
But now it won't even turn on anymore.
Suppose I'll try to salvage the hard drive later.

Or it could be sealed, and at some point be use for plot (like Threeshades re-absorbing them to defeat BBEG or something)

As wielder of an oversized hammer/staff like musical instrument I, of course, thought of this option

! I just got an epic idea for the final battle to make it two-sided and epic.

1. Salmon dies.
2. Lying has to resurrect him, and is thus unuseable in the battle.
3. The Shades charge at them, unkillable.
4. Everyone has to hold them off while Lying casts the spell.
5. Giant. Fricking. Robot.
6. Epic Battle.
7. ???
8. Profit!

Well, it's more practical than sledge hammers which most of paladins use + there are more ways how to fight with this one anyway

Try to take out the hard drive and mount it on a friend's computer. see if it works. it could be a source failure, mainboard problems,...or is it a problem with the monitor ?

You're right, Salmon transforming into a shark in his super-powered mode is as ridiculous as a lizard man transforming into a penguin in his super-powered mode.

Not actually, both salmon and sharks is fish but a lizard is a reptile with millions of year between it and the birds we call penguins. Considering that the amulet was made for and by Flying salmons then it's pretty logical that it would make them morf into more dangerous and tough fish (you sound like he did it naturally, which of course would be stupid but we are speaking of using a device made by a sentient being)

As well as with Keveaks arguments, a shark is much more powerful and awesomer than a salmon than a lizardman is to a penguin, however cool a penguin might be. Plus, Lizardmen turn into Tyrannusaurus Rexes when they transform, not penguins.

Actually, sharks are cartilaginous fish, less related to bony fish than lizards (reptiles) to birds. And technically, birds are reptiles, which is a vastly smaller category than fishes.
