People do need to look out for each other, Quinn agrees, smiling softly. I look out for you, for instance. But looking out for somebody doesn't mean you take away their free will. And how was it greed that led to their usurping?

"Other people wanted their positions, wanted to take control over what they had made and what they were doing. My father had appointed stewards, and they got tired of ruling in his stead, and decided to rule supreme, claiming that he worked them too hard."
Crimson says rather angrily.

I see. What happened after that? Quinn asks calmly, with genuine curiosity.

"They turned on my father and his peers, killing many of them and casting their corpses down to the underworld, and then destroyed and edited the souls of those that survived, imprisoning them in hell."
Says Crimson.

That...is pretty horrible, Quinn, slightly aghast, has to admit, shaking her head - then blinks. Wait. Edited? How do you edit a soul?
