The road is clear, except for a place about 20 feet down where a tree has fallen and is blocking the path. However, it's possible to drive around it.

Sebastian felt he could deal with the smell from the car. A bad smell or a trek by foot through who knows how many monsters? It was a simple choice.

"I don't drive," Sebastian says. "You know, that eco-friendly stuff. Not that I'm worried about carbon emissions right now," he says, smiling slightly.

Trying to hold his breathe, Sebastian clambers into the car. The engine revs, and the car starts to move.

"The radio message said to head to the airport," Sebastian says. "I guess we better go that way."
