"Gah!" Doc Atom grits his teeth as the acid scalds him. This isn't going well. I wonder if there is anyway I can protect myself from acid. Its not like I conjure a wall of water to dilute it... hey! He takes another shot at the crab before lowering himself into the sea.

The robot seems unaffected by Gravitar's powers.

Black Blur hears a tiny ding as the rock bounces off the robot's uniform.

The Giant Lynn Swann then pulls out a large yellow towel out of nowhere and throws it at Unstoppable. Unfortunately, being a towel, it moves through the air very slowly and is capable of being stopped.

OOC:
It's odd how you can jump 100s of feet in the air and land in the same round so long as you don't have leaping past rank 4.

Doc Atom misses wildly, despite being point-blank.

The crab regains its eyesight and begins running towards the shore.

Fifty feet from shore.

It's odd how you can jump 100s of feet in the air and land in the same round so long as you don't have leaping past rank 4.

OOC: I never said it would take more than one round to land. I just meant that I didn't slow fall. I fall at the same rate as normal, its just that the distance is great enough to take more than one round.

I have Leaping 7.

Unstoppable can try to stop the slow-moving projectile while he is in the air.

"I'm tired of waiting." Impact takes a few steps back, the leaps for the crab, headed right for it's face.

This is a setpiece essentially. Figure out an amusing way to get around it and I'll give you a hero point. Find a reasonable way and you won't get hit.

Just don't be melodramatic.

OOC: Oh come on. Melodrama is one the Captain's key powers, along with super-strength and impenetrable skin.

IC:

As the towel flies towards him Captain Unstoppable grabs onto the giant towel, does a flip onto the surface, runs on the towel toward the giant hovering Lynn Swann, and leaps off as he runs out of towel to charge on.

Looking back at the flying towel, the Captain mutters, "Huh, didn't think that'd work."

Gravatar flies above the robot and attempts to body slam it, annoyed at its ignoring her.

OOC: Yes, and Gravatar can fly, remember? She's going to try and get higher than the robot and dive bomb it.

OOC: Oh, I see you edited your post to say that you flew up to body slam the robot.

EDIT: You should probably shift your points from gravity control to force field now. A full forcefield only takes 12 points, so you could have 12 points in force field, bringing it to full, and 24 points in something else. Putting it in gravity control would bring it up to 8 ranks.

Unstoppable manages to get around the towel, but it hits City Hall's tower and causes a good bit of damage.

Gravitar lands onto the robot's helmet and cracks it slightly. The robot then flies way up into the air with Gravitar still attached.

"Skinny Running Backs make bad tackles. Have fun trying to breathe."

OOC:
Robot takes a bruise, Gravitar needs to roll a Fort save.

Seing as the crab is kinda busy being attacked and feeling pretty useless right now , Green Hound break out of his defensive position, run behind the crab , slide under it's belly avoiding the legs and just attack the damn thing.

Acrobatic: To slide under the belly of the beast.

The crab, not paying attention to any of its assailants, manages to walk on to dry land. Green Hound punches the creature and does nothing to it.

Gravitar manages to hold her breath, but both her and the robot are high in the air. Higher than a jet plane in fact. The robot looks down and then flies in the general direction of the Philadelphia Museum of Art with Gravitar still stuck in its helmet.

OOC: It's GRAVATAR, not Gravitar. I thought we went over this already. And I meant to ask this a while ago, but who the heck is Lynn Swan?

Gravatar tries to use as much power as she can muster to make herself, and the robot, heavier, to try and bring it back down to earth or at least slow it down.

There was a link when I first revealed the enemy.

Lynn Swann - He ran for governor of Pennsylvania in 2006 and was wide receiver for the Steelers. This is a giant robotic version that we're dealing with. The former mayor of Philadelphia, Ed Rendell, is the current governor.

Also, he is heading towards the art museum quickly and you're trying to make him go faster and crash. Near the art museum. Time for the iconic question.

Gravatar thinks better of that decision and reverses the polarity of the neutron flow, attempting to make the robot lighter to try and minimize whatever damage it intends.

In this universe, Rocky Balboa (Rocky VI) was never made, so the statue was never returned to the art museum.

Huh. Seems it should have known that. He shrugs.
No skin of my back. With no further trepidations he hurls yet another set of stones at the behemoth,this time zipping them at it's head. Although it should be noted, not so neatly aimed that they could cause mathematical difficulties.

Well crap. It's made it to shore. He pauses as he stares closer. And Green Hound is punching its belly while Impact seems to be running on its shell, looking for something. Fortunately I've been practicing my aim, so I should be able to shoot that crab without hitting them.
