Terry Prtatchett's Nation
Saw a new TP novel in my library -- Nation, a pseudo-historical fiction novel set in a place *very like but not identical to* the South Pacific.
Anyone read it? Anyone like it?
Methinks the heroine went on a bit of a large guilt trip when she
Spoiler
killed a pirate by tricking him into drinking poisoned beer
I mean, come on! It's not like she had a choice.
Respectfully,
Brian P.

Re: Terry Prtatchett's Nation
Have it. Read it. Liked it.
Although billed as a young adult book (like the Tiffany Aching series, and the Bromeliad, and The Amazing Maurice) there are gags in there that are simply too good for the little 'uns.
The Cave of the Fathers is sooooo getting yoinked for my next game.
