After getting an (hopefully satisfactory) answer, Kanden runs to Q6 and puts his iron axe in the Soldier's head.

(Can't find Kanden's up to date stats [Shades, do you have them or do I have to go digging?], but I'm fairly sure that he'll survive a soldier counterattack and a zombie attack... just make sure you finish off the soldier...
