[ACRO] GLoG 28: The People's Republic of Magtok

[Jacklu]

The fox's wanderings leads her to where George and Crodelus are talking. Tia stops and watches the two for a moment.

[Hyozo]

To be honest, this actually slightly improves his opinion of George, since he has proven himself to not be completely clueless. Even so, he says "I wouldn't say I don't like you very much, but your method of getting people to like you could certainly improve.", deliberately keeping his tone as similar to the last remark as possible.

[Jackalajack]

"Right, well, if you end up throwing away the necklace, at least do it where I won't see it." States George solemnly, walking off. (Also, if the fox would like to RP with him, it should follow.)

[Jacklu]

The fox hurries after George, giving Crodelus a passing glance. She catches up with George and trots along behind him.

[Jackalajack]

After a little bit of walking, George notices the fox following him! By this time he is outside in fresh air. "Oh, hello there little guy! Aren't you just all triple kinds of cute?" George smiles his Wide-Smile™.

[The Bushranger]

Meanwhile, in Sam's room, Dani jolts awake, looking around frantically for an instant before pressing as close against Sam as she can.

[FireFox]

Sam instantly presses back against Dani and reassures her. It's okay, I'm here. How are you feeling, love?

[Jacklu]

The fox stops and looks up at him. She sits down and takes the man in [INSERT SUBTLE REQUEST FOR DESCRIPTION HERE].

[The Bushranger]

Dani is shivering a little, but quickly calms as Sam holds her.
I'm, I'm fine love. I...I was so scared...

[FireFox]

Sam smiles at her, then decides to take her mind off it. So... she looks over at the bag. What was the occasion?

[Jackalajack]

George is a young looking man, his exact age twenty four, with short blond hair and green eyes. He is on the short side, but with long legs, and he looks very graceful and happy. His teeth more or less sparkle with how white they are and his clothes are okay, nothing fancy or rundown. He really doesn't have a 'main feature' that jumps out at you.

[The Bushranger]

Dani smiles, gratefully, and follows Sam's gaze over to the bag.
Well, a little bird told me that somebody I know is having a birthday soon...

[FireFox]

Sam blushes, completely surprised. What! Who told you?

[The Bushranger]

Dani giggles softly. I dunno. I got a note signed 'God' telling me when it was.

[FireFox]

Sam groans. That could only have been my brother... Which raises an interesting question about the first note Dani got. Well, sorry to have spoiled your surprise by looking in there...

[Jacklu]

Tia tilts her head the other direction and steps closer to George, sniffing him curiously.

[Jackalajack]

George pets the fox. "Are you a talking animal like the Mr. Twibbs I met?"

[The Bushranger]

Yup, it does...
Dani giggles and shakes her head. It's alright, love. I know you needed to. Did you like what you found?

[FireFox]

Sam's only reply is a dark blush as she nods and takes the bag off the desk to put it on the bed.

[The Bushranger]

Dani grins, and sits up, still leaning against Sam's side, to rummage in the bag.
And the first thing she produces is the ring box, even as her cheeks start to color.
I...it took me awhile to find these...I hope you like them.
She turns the box over in her hands, then hands it to Sam.

[Jacklu]

The fox folds its ears back as it is pet. She considers his question and settles on shaking her head no.

[Jackalajack]

"Oh. Well at least you're smart enough to understand me!" George scratches behind the fox's ears.

[FireFox]

Sam's breath seems to come slightly quicker as she smiles at Dani and opens the box.

[The Bushranger]

Dani smiles back and hugs Sam a little tighter...

Inside the box are matching rings, each of them featuring a pair of brilliant rubies flanking a flawless diamond.

[Jacklu]

Tia leans into the scratching for a moment. She backs out of the pet after a moment and looks at George.

[FireFox]

Oh God... Sam stares at the rings for a long time, then hugs Dani back fiercely.

[The Bushranger]

And the smaller redhead starts having tears running down her cheeks again - this time, of happiness. I love you, Sammie...

[FireFox]

I love you so much! Honestly feeling like she's going to explode, Sam closes the ring box and sets in on the side until later.

[Jackalajack]

George looks back at the fox. "Do you want something?" he inquires.

[The Bushranger]

Dani blushes deeply, and gives Sam another, very tight squeeze.
Interrupted by her stomach rumbling...
Whoops. She giggles softly. I'm guess I'm getting kinda hungry.
