It is, I have to finish the chaos NPC's general order of battle. Actually, it's about to be an event.

Speaking of Chaos NPCs, are those the guys attacking my territory, or was there confusion as to Night Surgeon's orders?

    Name: Tomb Lord Ss'linu
Appearance: Like all of the Necrons on his tomb world, Ss'linu is colored similar to rust. With a tattered faded white cape, Ss'linu stands at a full 2meters in height. his green glowing eyes show nothing but malice and hatred for anything living.
    Race: Necrontyr
Personal gear: Power Scythe with a Gauss blaster built in. Scarab swarm covering his body, acting as a barrier against attacks. Flayed One's claws.
Warband: All units held in reserve under the planet's surface in the tombs. Called forth by the monoliths.
    300 Necron Warriors
    100 Wraiths
    50 Destroyers
    2 Monoliths
50 Pariahs (act as an Honor Guard)
    100 Immortals
    200 Flayed Ones
    Countless Repair Scarabs.

Bios: A rasping voice is heard in the minds of the soldiers.
"I was like you once. I too clinged to life, fearing the end. The Nightbringer showed me the way to true immortality. My race was the first in the universe. And we will be the last. I pledged my allegiance to the Star Gods in their tombs under my home planet. This planet. I will not allow your living stench to soil this world."
Ss'linu was a Necrontyr General who lived on what is now called Reich. When the star Gods promised immortality he was one of the first to pledge himself to their service. He was granted power beyond what was believed possible. He and his warriors have waited millions of years to awaken from their tombs. Now the living stage a war against one another. Ss'linu vows to show them how war was waged before their Gods were even a thought.

Also; how will inter-player battles be handled?
I'm assuming we simply announce our tactics and let you (zergling001) handle the casualties?
I've seen many people do this many different ways.

I'm 'Gming' this so it's what you said earlier, you announce your tactics and then attack, but you guys can RP the fights realistcally, or I'll annoounce the casualties. I'll let you guys say stuff like a space marine rips apart a guardsman with his hands, I feel it'll be mroe fun that way.

No it's general NPC's, meaning I ate the flesh of my enemy to gain their strength. If I attacked you there would have been SOME casualties.

Sorry it's so late. I've been away.
But this is about the time my guys would have shown up anyway. Feel the light of the Emperor, Heretic scum!
    Character data:
    Name Inquisitor lord Abraham Klimpt
Appearance: A short, stocky man with a back so straight it is almost bent. Skin is cracked and weathered, bears himself with great dignity. Wears a rebreather mask an a greatcoat and wide-brimmed hat. Leans on a cane because of a leg injury. Glares at everyone, and is supremely arrogant. Should have been a priest, and has a deep and unshakeable faith. Is totally fearless, and refuses to surrender or compromise. Is somewhat overzealous.
    Race: Human
Personal gear: Heavy artificer armor, A powersword, two master-crafted plasma pistols and a rebreather.
Warband: Works with a range of Space Marine chapters as his agents, serving as a large force of Deathwatch. Commands a few thousand elite storm-troopers, and generally as at least a few hundred First-Founding Chapter Space Marines working with him. Commands about twenty specialists in his personal retinue. Favors hit and run tactics. Due to the speed and precision called for here, has brought the following troops.

    DeathWatch Marines
5 Dark Ravens (Jump Packs, Close combat weapons, 2 lightning claws)
10 White Scars (Bikes, close combat weapons, one powerlance)
5 Imperial Fists (2 heavy weapons, 1 power fist)
15 Space Wolves (Close combat weapons, a few power weapons, 5 veterans)
    15 Dark Angels (One Chaplain)
15 Blood Angels (One chaplain, 5 death company)
25 Black Templars (10 are neophytes, 5 sword brethren terminators)
25 Ultramarines (5 heavy weapons, 5 veterans, One Force Commander)

    Other
50 Storm Troopers. (State of the art equipment. Their employer is a very influential man...)
Additional 200 remain on the ship as a reserve force.
10 retinue (Consisting of two close-combat specialists, a marksman, a Ex-Arbite Bodyguard, a weapons specialist, a scribe and two sanctioned psychicers, a servo skull, an engineer and a woman of unknown abilities and occupation.)

    Clearence granted: General.
    Information may be classified.
Not a lot is known about Klimt. His parents were executed by Imperial authorities on a classified mission, making him a ward of the state. He had aspirations to become a priest, however was found positive for psychic ability and was instead trained to be a sanctioned psychicer.
Attached to the retinue of Inquisitor August Ronald Klimt, he impressed the High ranking Inquisitor with his piety and intellectual ability. Assisting his protege's career, August assisted him in joining their ranks.
Origonally served as a Ordo Hereticus under his patron, however transferred to the Ordo Xenos, and now serves to co ordinate campaigns against the enemies of Imperium.
He is a radical Inquisitor, and will uses the full resources of his soul and Imperiums arsenal in any confrontation. He is secretive, but he maintains close ties to Inquisitor August, and is a former member of the Ordo Hereticus. Also maintains a friendship with Marshal Helbracht.
Has served Imperium to distinction on the field, but parts of his personal life are under suspicion, and he has twice come under investigation (See Section C-F #9845). Is suspected of harboring a known fugitive of the Ordo Herteticus, but no evidence has come to light of this suspicion (Considered priority #93457bf investigation)
His stability is also in question after the events on Teron IV (See Section 99156-99148 for full details), and nearing 300 years of age has been considered for compulsory retirement.
Master fencer, and formerly inducted into the Sacred Order of the Emperor's Heart (Artemis Sub-Cult).

I was referring to the Chaos Space Marines, more than anything. Namely the Terminators and Obliterators attacking that village.

And now it will seem that there are even more Space Marines to corrupt! Oh Happy Day!

Oh, it won't be an overly tough fight (though the veterans might make you work)

But here is the question. Can your Necron Lord take two lascannons and perhaps a hundred odd las/auto gun shots?

    should be interesting.

Let's keep this at a good pace where everyone can catch up, so the three posters in the IC thread will wait for the chaos faction to post before posting. Ganurath can post if he wants to, but he isn't really in this battle unless he feels like it.

Keep the RPing at a moderate pace, don't rush ahead and say what the other team's players do, take it event after event.

Otherwise, keep up teh good work.

If he's tooled out the way I typically kit my Lord in games - Phase Shifter+Phylactery+Resurrection Orb, he can take quite a bit more than that. :)

Haha I respect the Tau, pure Guerrilla Tactics, usually.

But I used to play Necrons in the table top. My friend actually played the Imperial Guard, with forces twice the size of mine own I could still mop the floor with his budget soldiers. Although, when mopping consists of bashing their skulls into the ground, then that's nothing short of entertainment.

And I did list in my army, "Countless Repair Scarabs". Which is basically the Phylactery bonus, if memory serves. come to think of it... I think I actually lost my Codex for the Necrons. Good thing I can remember a lot of the unit names and what they are capable of...

Are Sword Brethren Termies the ones who get to charge after they deep strike? If they are, I can understand your enjoyment. If they're not, all I can see is a squad of very, very dead termies.
