She finds tremendous guilt over the deaths of the orphan children. And a sparkle of sorrow from being mean towards Dani.

As for Astir, there is to much muddled fealings to get a good read on how she feels towards him.

Shadow tries to heal Lex's torn fingers psychically, and then fades away into deadtime.

[Lex-Kat]

Lex's fingers heal. As they heal, she looks toward the shadow as it fades away.

After it's gone, she curls up and cries.

Tia smiles from her bed. Mmhm... Hey Vidalia... Come here...

[Lex-Kat]

Vidalia goes over and will sit on the bed, unless Tia stops her.

[Jacklu]

When Vidalia sits down, she will find a bed of average softness. Most likely the same as her own. Lay back. Isn't this the most comfortable bed ever?

[Lex-Kat]

Vidalia lays back. Yes, it's very comfortable. She of course feels no differnece from the one she has.

Tia smiles and closes her eyes for a moment. I haven't slept on a good bed for so long. I had forgotten what it felt like.

These are quite nice and comfortable. Much better than the infirmary beds. Vidalia smiles.

She then attmpts to caress Tia's head. My poor, poor foxy lady.

Maybe someday Corentin and I will take you to a nice hotel and let you feel real luxury.

Dani is now in her favourite pink dress, and cooking.


Alex is still quietly reading War and Peace...

Tia curls up a little and scooches closer to Vidalia. That would be nice. ... Vidalia... You're... You're the first friend I've had in a while...

Vidalia tries to pull her friend closer. Continuing to caress her hair. I'm lucky to know you Tia.

[Jacklu]

Tia sighs contentedly. She goes to wrap her arms around Vidalia to pull her close.

The two are now hugging on Tia's bed.

Dani sits at the table to eat.

Quinn keeps herself busy with busy-work in the infirmary.

Alex turns the page.

Runner and Skrall2 undeadtime in the great room.

Dani, sitting at the kitchen counter eating, waves.

They wave back. But Runner speaks. Hello Dani. How are you?

Hi Runner! I'm doing pretty good, I reckon. How about you? Dani smiles.

I am doing good as well. Tell me, has anything happened involving Lex lately?

Dani takes a deep breath, her smile fading as she nods.
Yeah...somebody named Astir did something to her and she's all...evil now.
She looks down, looking hurt for her friend.

DC, who has been in the great room the whole time, speaks up.

Until Astir is gone, there's no telling how many more will end up like Lex. Or worse.

Runner would put a hand on Dani's shoulder, if there wasn't the chance of crushing her. But, his voice sounds slightly reassuring. We will be able to help her. Many people around here are looking out for her. Including somebody, or something, that can be connected to Chelonie. ((I think I spelled that right.))

I hope so. I think Alexis - the new Alexis - got corrupted too. Dani sighs. And Sammie's pregnant and freaked out and ran off...

New Alexis? I do not think I know her yet. As for Sammie, I am not exactly sure how pregnancy affects humans. But, my limited knowledge on the subject would suggest that this is not an extreme reaction. Maybe unusual, but not extreme. But, she should be found.

Yeah. I just wish I knew where to look for her. Dani sighs. And yeah, there's a new girl named Alexis. She's nice...well, she was anyway...

Now she's almost as uninhibited as Dani is!

Am I to assume that is partially because of Dani?

I wonder if Astir had anything to do with her as well.

Skrall2 looks over at DC. So, who is this Astir guy anyway?

Believe it or not? No.

Yeah, he is...

Dani looks over at DC and sighs. Are we gonna kill him?
She sounds like she approves of that motion.

Astir is... Strange. He's responsible for the recent incident with Reinholdt, along with the corruption of Lex, Alexis, and Falgorn. And that's only the ones we know. We're going to have to kill him, if not to stop him from attacking us directly, then to protect those he might corrupt. I have something to go deal with, however.

DC goes off to the labs and deadtimes.

Runner thinks for a few moments. I would like to know what happened to him. From what I know, he was much different before.
