GLoG 31: To live defeated and inglorious is to die daily

Soft footsteps can be heard at the door as Eladrin enters the base, The song seems to have stopped,

Alexis nods and "leans" against Dani.

[ThePhantom]

(BR is the scimitar magic or not? If its not, it won't hurt him.)

"Shield"

The White King blocks the blast, and tries to touch Alexis.

(Effects of touch are show here)

[The Bushranger]

((It is. Keen, and Flaming.))

Alex goes to rip his blade up the middle of the White King's back.
You shall not have her!



Dani, oblivious to everything else, shivers slightly and smiles.

[SeptAngel]

She tosses over some chairs to avoid his touch. Alex get out of here! She yells, getting backed into a wall.

[celtois]

Step step step, Eladrin walks slowly towards the detention cells to arrive there next post.

Alexis smiles sweetly but sadly, maybe just maybe if Dani wasn't happy she would stay to try and make her happy.

[ThePhantom]

"Argh!"

The White King, deciding that he can keep going inspite of the flaming sword in him, lurges foward, trying to touch Alexis, batting away chairs.

"You will not escape me!"

[SeptAngel]

A thick layer of ice forms itself in front of Alexis just before The King can touch her.

[The Bushranger]

Alex doesn't answer Alexis's shout, instead yanking back on his scimitar before bringing it around in a two-handed grip for the White King's neck...




Dani, a small smile on her face, starts to tell Alexis about everything that has happened since she died...it seems she's happy, yet somehow...fragile, at the same time.

[celtois]

Alexis listens nodding where appropriate. Making surprised or shocked faces at others.. All the time staying right beside Dani however.

Eladrin walks into the "prison" Well well, your back white king. He draws his sword and begins to sing a melody, there is no power in it yet.

[ThePhantom]

"Curse you!"

The White King's hand is blocked. He turns to face Alex.

"You will pay for this, knight."

He fires a lighting bolt at Alex's scimatar.

[SeptAngel]

Alexis presses against the ice, aiming to have it fall on The White King.

[celtois]

The song starts to ring with positive energy. Again harming undead and healing the living.

He prepares his sword if the king tries to run.

[The Bushranger]

Alex smiles at the magical melody, bringing up the scimitar to catch the lightning bolt.

The instinctual move does mean he gets shocked, though, and thrown back against the far wall...

[ThePhantom]

"Ugh, the bishop returns. Well, I still have one last gambit. Metor Swarm."

The White King blasts all around himself with the spell, trying to hit as many of his ememies as he can.

[SeptAngel]

A few meteors hit Alexis but do no damage to the girl, not even a scratch. She grabs a metal bar from her bed in the cell and tries to ram in through The White King.

[celtois]

Eladrin continues his song, intensifying it to try and cure wounds well they happen and destroy this white king, The fire splashes over him seeming to do little more then singe his fine clothes, however the meteors themselves hit, sending him flying against the wall.. Barely managing to continue singing.

Alexis continues to listen.

[The Bushranger]

Dani finally finishes telling her story, seemingly more from running out of words from things to tell about.
And yawns, sleepily.
I think I wore myself out talking. She giggles softly.



Alex avoids being meteor'd, but this is more from being groggy and flat on the floor than anything else...

[ThePhantom]

"This isn't over."

The White King's skull is crushed, and he falls.

[SeptAngel]

Looks like it is to me. She says with a growl and goes to check on Alex.

[celtois]

Eladrin decides not moving is a good idea. With broken ribs and a collar bone from getting hit by a meteor he waits for a drone to help him.

Alexis smiles nodding to Dani. Trying to think of some way to suggest she go to bed.

[The Bushranger]

Alex is dazed, shaking his head groggily and admiring the pretty birdies.
He does look up at Alexis as she checks him over, though.
You...alright?



Dani smiles at Alexis.
Interstingly, a suggestion isn't necessary.
I think I should probably get some rest...I guess you don't sleep or anything but, you wanna come with?

[SeptAngel]

The room starts to return to it's normal temperature before Alex gets hypothermia.

She nods. I told you he couldn't hurt me. And you really should have left. She grabs some ice off the floor and holds it to his head.

[celtois]

Alexis nods, standing up as if to follow.

Eladrin, slowly looks around for a drone. These two where prisoners darn it and now they had escaped.

[The Bushranger]

Alex wasn't a prisoner.
A security drone and meddrone come over to start work on Eladrin.


Couldn't leave you alone, is Alex's only comment before he passes out completely.





Dani smiles and goes to take Alexis' ghostly hand, heading for her room, where she slips under the covers with a smile.

[SeptAngel]

Alexis sighs and carries Alex to lay on her bed.

And she also hasn't escaped yet, her cell is just blown open.

[celtois]

The Spirit of Alexis will lay down beside Dani.

Yes.. we he didn't know that and it certainly seems possible even likely,
He smiles at the drone. Thank you.

[SeptAngel]

Alexis looks over at Eladrin. You alright? Though it doesn't sound like she honestly cares.

[The Bushranger]

The drone acknowledges.


Alex remains unconsious, and is easily carried by Alexis.


Dani smiles and turns to smile at the other Alexis before closing her eyes and drifting off to sleep.



BR-the-player goes to dinner!

Hardly, but I'll recover. He smiles at her. (His smile is magical! It should make the person feel happy or cheerful.) Thank you for your concern. His voice even injured like this sounds like the chiming of soft bells.

If it was old Alexis he would bring a smile to her face. Sadly, this evil Alexis just rolls her eyes. Yeah, well he'll be resting so I think I'm going to go for a walk. She starts to head through the shattered door to her cell before the drones can completely build it back.
