GLoG XXXIII: Do you think you can handle it?

Dani giggles softly, there being all kinds of ways she could play with that...
But, perhaps surprisingly, she opts for (mostly) seriousness...
I guess the moral codes and all that aren't as prudish about such things like they are most places? I mean, even my girlfriend gets a little silly about it when I go skinny-dipping!

[Jacklu]

I suppose. Though in many ways this place is a lot more lax about things. Everyone around here is... so accepting of oddity.

[The Bushranger]

Well, I guess that's 'cause everything around her is just so, well, odd! Dani giggles and sinks into the water up to her chin. I mean, we have members who are 12-foot shapeshifting robots! And my fiance is, like, part werefox, and it just goes on from there!

[KerfuffleMach2]

Said shapeshifting robot moves into the computer room right now. He wants to check on something.

Other robot decides to stroll the rose garden.

The term werefox catches Tia's attention. Your girlfriend is a what? She sits up in the water.

Dani looks a little surprised, but smiles. I think she called it Branded or something like that? Her mom was a werefox.

[Jacklu]

That's... interesting... Could I... I mean... Maybe I could meet her sometime?

[The Bushranger]

Dani nods eagerly. Sure! I'd love to have you meet Sammie! She's great - I bet she'd like you! She giggles. Just make sure you're dressed, she's not as uninhibited as I am. Yet!

[Lex-Kat]

Tia is taken aback by the question. It certainly wasn't what she was expecting. I... You are my closest friend. One of my only friends. I like you a lot, Vidalia.

Well, I like you a lot too, Tia. Vidalia steps closer to her. Corentin and I want you to be happy.

[Jacklu]

Tia looks somewhat hopeful. Somebody else that is like her. Or close enough.

[tia's room]

Tia looks a little confused. She also looks a little worried. Such conversations rarely ended well for those involved. I... Is there... I have been happier here than I have been in a while.

[The Bushranger]

Angela would be closer to Tia. But we all know how that meeting would end.

Dani just smiles warmly and sinks back into the water, letting it cover her bare skin. In fact, we're gonna be getting married really soon...you wanna be there?

[Lex-Kat]

Vidalia leans in. If Tia doesn't freak out too much, she will try to brush her lips barely against Tia's. I want you to be very, very happy Tia.

[Jacklu]

[pool]

Married? uh... Sure. I would love to. If that is okay, I mean.

[room]

Tia is a bit too surprised to be freaked out. Her stomach flutters and her lips quiver slightly at the touch. I... happy... she manages to get out in a hushed voice. She doesn't lean in closer, but she isn't moving back either.

{Tia's Room}

That's alright, because Vidalia will lean in, wrapping her arms around Tia (if she doesn't object), and kissing her gently, then progressively more passionately.

Dani grins broadly and goes to wrap Tia in a tight hug.
Not caring that they're both skinny-dipping.

And who should walk into the pool room but Sam, in her one piece suit.

[Jacklu]

[tia's room]

Tia stiffens slightly at first, then relaxes and returns the kiss. Her arms rise slightly and hover, unsure of what to do. Slowly they wrap around Vidalia, holding her gently.

Ironic how continuity will update itself at the most opportune times. The memories of what happened in the room with Vidalia start to crystallize and come into focus. Tia turns bright red at the feel of Dani against her. She is unable to react to the sudden contact combined with the memories and emotions that came with them. Her heartrate leaps and adrenaline rushes through her system. Slowly she wraps her arms around Dani.

[The Bushranger]

Just in time for Dani to be noticing Sam approaching, and eeping quietly in surprise as she feels Tia wrapping her arms around her!
Oh dear!
She tries to squirm away, which means she's squirming in Tia's arms...

[FireFox]

Sam approaches, and sits by the side, close to the two nude women. Hullo...

[The Bushranger]

Dani's eyes are wide in surprise, and maybe even a hint of fear...
Er...hey Sammie! Help...

[Lex-Kat]

{Tia's Room}

Vidalia will pull slightly back. Just something for you to think on. We want you in our lives Tia. I've fallen in love with you. Vidalia will kiss Tia one last time, then leave for Butler's Estate.

[Jacklu]

[pool]

Dani's squirming combined with the sudden Hullo work to snap Tia back to the present. She releases Dani and quickly slides to the far side of the tub. Her face is flushed and she is breathing rather heavily. She looks at Sam, then at Dani. Her eyes widen. Oh gods! I'm... I didn't mean... She closes her eyes tightly and sinks into the water up to her eyes, trying to slow her heart down so she can hear over its pounding in her chest.

[tia's room]

Tia blinks as Vidalia leaves. She stands in her room for a moment, then puts her fingers to her lips. Emotions and adrenalin are swirling within her. She shakes her head and heads for the pool area, hoping to clear her mind a little. Continuity warps and falls back into shape.

[The Bushranger]

Dani quickly swims over to Sam's side, wrapping an arm around her leg and being quite flushed herself, but she giggles softly. No, it's OK, I shouldn't have been so eager to hug ya considering... She smiles up at Sam. Sammie, this is Tia! She's pretty cool and wants to meet you 'cause of how you're part fox and all that and she wants to come to our wedding and that's why I was hugging her 'cause I invited her and she said yes and that's why we were hugging! 'Cept I think things got a little out of hand... She blushes as red as her hair and giggles nervously.

Hi. Sam smiles at Tia, then turns to Dani. Who's your friend, love? She seems happy actually. And not that fake happy tone people have right before they tear you a new one; she doesn't seem upset or fazed at all.
Oh, I see. She smiles at Dani, then reaches down to grab her and pull her out of the pool and into Sam's lap, where she'll whisper into Dani's ear. She's cute, huh?

[The Bushranger]

And Dani, clad in her birthday suit, is hauled into Sam's lap!
She wraps her arms around Sam's neck, and blushes still more in surprise
Well...yeah...

Sam giggles, then, waving goodbye to Tia, carries Dani to their room quickly, and to bed.

[Jacklu]

Tia doesn't come up out of the water until after they leave. She tries to settle the emotional turmoil roiling within her. What Vidalia had said, what she had felt because of it, what she had done to Dani. It is all too much for the girl to handle. Finally the pressure builds to the point where she can't keep it all in and she breaks down and starts to cry.

Skrall2, in his random wanderings, happens to pass by the pool at this moment. He here's the crying and comes over. Hello? Are you alright?

But then deadtime tears into him like a monkey on a cupcake.

Judy just happens to be heading toward the pool area. She loves midnight swims.

Then she hears the soft crying. Hello?

[Jacklu]

Tia doesn't hear either of the hellos over her own crying. She is clearly distraught though, and probably not in the best place to be having an emotional breakdown.
