Can he fly? Crator does hit and fly tactics and flew up 15 ft after the strike. Crator is a pain in the proverbial ass, but he's up to par with dragons.

No, he cannot fly, but he stays their, readying his attack. I'll save that attack for rolls for later, I'm to lazy to bother re-rolling. Anyway, the wizard in dark purple robes whispers to Fred again: Seriously, he won't let you through, I mean it. I mean, I've seen that egotistic idiot not live up to his promise countless times after losing. The only option is this. he says grimly.

Just making sure I'm right, I've never been able to pull off this amazing coup, as whenever I try it I get just so far and fall short of having all the feats and whatnot Fly By Attack Dual Strike

Crator smiles. He's got the advantage here, with no archers to take him out, he's become the dragon he always thought he was. In the air he flexes his muscles over and over. (1d20+25)[41] for (2d6+30)[37] damage, swooping down 15 ft and back up 15 ft.

Fred whispers back well if you insist I think I have a plan assuming that I can activate this thing. Fred then communicates the following with the group telepathically so this wizard seems sure that this guy will not let us cross so I am going to take the wand of the custom spell he is trying to give to me. The best plan I can think of at the moment is that if the guy blocks us from crossing then we all look like we are leaving and I will try to sneak over and get off a surprise attack then you guys can charge in. The spell does seem a bit high to be made into a wand so I assume that there are some limitations on the custom spell that would not be on the regular one and I will only have about a 75% chance of it activating so if the wand works we will need to finish up quickly.

Fred then takes the wand and assuming that it is not a focus for a trap the soul or something like that whispers are you going to want this back when this is all over.

So, did Crator's attack hit? He's just gonna repeat his actions over and over, however, he did make the last attack... THE DRAGON WANTS HIS TREASURE!!!

It did hit, and so anyway he retaliates with the rolls I made beforehand. Anyway Fred hears the wizard whisper to him:Go now. He is distracted by the attack.

I a heated whisper to the wizard Fred says My man you are either much to inexperienced to be giving me advice or are totally insane. In either case you are not the one who will be risking your life. So I will thank you to let me do this my way unless you can give me assurance that what you have rigged up will work 100% of the time. While you obviously believe that it will work I need something that fits with my worldview before I follow the plans of someone for whom I am doing a favor.
