Caeric will hang towards the back of the group, scanning behind them every once in a while to ensure they are not snuck up on.

Zaric falls to the rear of the group being very cautious not to disturb the bugs fluttering about after seeing what they done to Arimon. Instead Zaric stays alert making sure nothing attacks the group from the rear.

Looking your respective direction, you see more of the same, mirrored walls, ceiling, and floor. Candelabras occupy the walls, and another chandelier hangs upon the ceiling, the mechanical bugs are much more numerous here, but still pay no attention to you as you walk through their midst. Other than the lighting sources, there is no furniture.

On one of your glances back towards the entrance, keeping an eye on anything that might come from behind, you notice something else. One of the mechanical bugs that is busy cleaning up the mess next to the corpse is seen with a piece of written parchment in it's mandibles, tugging at it, trying to get it away from the corpse that holds it within his hands, seeing it as something that must be cleaned up. You also notice on the corpse a few objects glittering in the light.

As far as you can tell, they are simple animated constructs, perhaps like a Homunculus. You remember back in your days of tutoring a mage that had created one as a pet, but you have never seen them 'mass produced' like this.

Ivan will move around his corner rapier drawn and walk forward keeping the corner in sight.

Kelsin (once again) does the same as Ivan, but heading left (and with a morningstar drawn, obviously.)

Arimon hesitates for a moment, but then follows Ivan down the right hallway.

What does it say my furry friend? Caeric will ask the large man after he has sufficiently searched the corpse. Caeric is careful not to disturb the insects as they clean.

Arimon turns and beckons Kelsin over.
"Perhaps we should split up. I'll go with Ivan and Caeric down the right hallway, and you can go with Zeric and Adem down the left. Go as far as you can, and if you find the amulet or can't continue, go back outside the manor. Every half hour, send someone to check for the other group outside, and if we haven't met by sunset head back to town."

Searching the corpse nets you a few bugs that make a mechanical sounding hiss at you, while flittering their wings, a pouch that sounds full of coins, and three vials of a fiery red liquid.

You head on down the mechanical insect infested corridor just far enough that you keep the spot you originated from in sight, and can just barely see a turn back south coming up ahead. The corridor holds much of the same as before, with another chandelier hanging from the ceiling, and more candle holders next to each pillar.

Adem slowly walks over to the Caeric & Zaric not wanting to upset any bugs. He taps the two on the shoulder. "Looks like were splitting up and I am with you guys. Lets gets mov.... is that a body?."
