GLoG XXXIV: It gets worse!

One of the drones tending to Misaki gave her a mild painkiller, and it's starting to make her groggy. Things seem to be quieting down, and as the adrenaline leaves Misaki finds herself drained. She'll be asleep soon, probably.

Alexis holds her hand until she falls asleep and remains in the infirmary watching out for her and Alex.

[Darkcomet]

DC undeadtimes and heads out to the great room, to find it in ruins.

And so Misaki falls asleep and into a deadtime.

Crimson stares at the devastation in front of her, then glances back down at the note.
Oh hey, a map on the back. Handy.
And Irene and the glades would be... well...
She scans the room as she thinks.
A lot nicer than this place. Definitely.

Crimson scampers off and out.

Statement:The cause of the explosion was Member Marley.
Statement: Also, Member Irene is listed enemy Calublufiok.

One of the security drone floats over to Darkcomet.

[Darkcomet]

Irene was...

DC heads off to the security room, looking rather pale.

Once there he checks the security footage.

Then he heads back out, looking pretty much like he saw a ghost, and heads up to the hopefully-intact bulletin board...

The board should be fine, as far as I know, its in the kitchen, and the kitchen took the least part of the explosion.

The real Quinn, now, enters the Infirmary.


Alex remains asleep at the moment.

Alexis sees her and places herself between Quinn and Misaki. G-Get out! I won't let you hurt her.

[The Bushranger]

Quinn's eyes go wide in startlement, and she takes two steps back, hands raised. Alexis? What on earth...?

[SeptAngel]

I found her stabbed. She said you did it. I don't know if you were under a spell or what. But just back away... She looks nervous but remains between them.

[The Bushranger]

I haven't been under a spell or anything of the sort - I've been in the Rose Garden meditating this whole time!
After she gave up on the Pirates who Didn't Do Anything.
And then something Alexis said sinks in...

...wait, somebody stabbed her?

Yeah, she's fine and resting. If that's true then someone is pretending to be you.

Runner undeadtimes in the infirmary. All sorts of warnings and messages from GLoG's system are going off in his head. He closes his eyes for a minute to read them all.

Skrall2 undeadtimes in the rose garden. He heads to the great room, noticing some debris that had come from it.

...that pretty much sums up Quinn's reaction to Alexis' news.

Alexis is shaking but keeping herself between them. I-I promised to keep her s-safe.

Runner finishes reviewing everything. He looks around the infirmary and sees Quinn and Alexis. The cameras managed to capture who was taking your identity, Quinn. It was Calublufiok.

Skrall2 enters the great room and stares around, stunned. What the hell happened?

DC looks over to Skrall-2, still looking rather pale.

Calublufiok, the lich from that cave where you came back into existence, is back. Marley tried to blow him up...

Quinn takes a step back from Alexis, now looking heartbroken...


She looks over at Runner. Who?

H-How do you know that isn't...whatever that name was.

Runner answers Quinn first. Calublufiok. A lich. He is very powerful, and was thought to have been destroyed not long ago. It was fighting him that caused Raven's death. Then he turns to Alexis. Because of the video feeds from the great room shortly before the explosion.

What!? He's back? How? Where's Marley?

[Darkcomet]

I don't know. And Marley...

DC gestures sadly to a bit of the rather unrecognizable Marley-flesh amongst the debris in the great room.

Quinn doesn't know Raven either, BR doesn't think. But she nods.

And then, as everything sinks in, she sinks to the floor by the door, leaning against the wall, and starting to cry...

Alexis goes over to hug her. I'm sorry. I just couldn't take any chances.

[KerfuffleMach2]

I would ask that you all keep an eye out for each other. I feel that things will be rough for a while.

Skrall2 looks around, then lets out a metallic sigh and shakes his head. Poor Marley.

Quinn doesn't respond to Runner, still looking...distressed.
She thinks...it was me, right?

I told her it was probably a spell or not even you. She said something about turning into a monster. She says softly, not knowing the meaning.

[Darkcomet]

Skrall2 looks around, then lets out a metallic sigh and shakes his head. Poor Marley.

DC sighs. These nightmares always tend to repeat...

[The Bushranger]

Oh, gods...
And that makes Quinn curl up a little more.
I promised her I'd never hurt her, and now she thinks...

The waterworks really start right about now.
