Irene waves at the drone.

"Hey there. Are you the same one that rescued me from the Weald? I never did thank you for keeping my cover. Might have had to teleport back myself and blow it all before snatching those nifty tools. I'd ask to come in, but I think that'd end poorly for all involved. Mostly you guys though. So I'll just wait here. Go get someone."

Quinn is still starting at Tobias, eyes wide, unable to say anything.
If this is how he turns out...

DC, it might be noted, put Cal/Irene on the 'shoot on sight' list...

This is what the drone does, attempting to lobotomize Irene with its weak laser.

Irene yawns as a small vortex appears that should redirect the laser right into the drone.

"Oh well. Hard to find good help these days. And I was going to make you star too, baby. A STAR!"

Runner and Skrall2 had both been watching the door. Runner's arm produces his energy cannon, which he aims at Irene. Skrall2 draws his gunblade, also aiming at Irene. Both weapons hum.

Ignoring Quinn completely, the Black Fox stalks off to the door. Identify yourself.

The drone is sliced in half.



FWOOM!!!
Is the sound that Khiansa's spear makes when it materializes.
"Irene. I suppose it's too much to hope that you'll give me back my belongings?"

Quinn follows.

And gapes.


That's him! That's him!!


And drawing her short sword, she charges "Irene" with intent to shish-kabob!!

"Calublufiok a.k.a. Irene a.k.a. that bastard who blew up my planet a.k.a. well... you get the idea. Who are you? I recognize the robo twins. I was hoping for the Fearful One."

Irene waves at Khiansa but makes no reply.

He sighs. No pleasantries around here anymore.

He calmly takes Quinn's sword to the gut. Irene looks pained. "You hurt her 100 times more than you hurt me, I can assure you." He steps back away from the sword again.

I am the Black Fox, Leader of HALO, King of Vulpania, Grand Fighter versus the Gods, Master Strategist, and Ruthless War-Winner. He smirks as Quinn attacks. I am your opponent.

Speaking of which...

DC draws his pistol and opens fire on Cal/Irene.

There's now a volley of energy-wreathed bullets flying in Cal/Irene's direction.

Aimed so that they won't hit Quinn, of course.

I hope she will forgive me if I have to kill you to save her, Quinn says, growling.

As she swings her Holy, Disruptive sword at Cal's neck.

Runner is still aiming, as he can't shoot around Quinn.

Skrall2 would raise an eyebrow if he could. Seems that "The Fearful One" comment got to him.

Calublufiok gives Black Fox a courteous hand gesture and bow. "Well, wish I could meet you under less stabbing circumstances. Granted, you'll probably have to get in line."

He leans back, the sword barely missing. Seems he's had enough melee combat in his lifetime to at least know the basics. "If you can get her back. Oh. Her girlfriend is now undergoing intense retraining."

Calublufiok glances at the bullets and they seem to slow down. "It seems I've overstayed my welcome, so I'll make this quick. You remember your good old friend Alek? Ran across him recently. He's doing quite well for a guy who was stabbed and gutted. You should see him soon." Cal lingers just long enough to see on the look on Comet's face before disappearing, the bullets resuming their speed and zooming out into the distance. Or into Quinn. She is kinda right there in the doorway.

Come on, Lich. He grins, showing pointed teeth. There are none here who can lay claim to half the things I've done. You know that you want to try and beat me. I challenge you.

Runner and Skrall2 both curse loudly when Cal disappears. Though, in different languages.

But he's not there! Unless you're hoping he just turned invisible. Which he might do sometimes.

But nah. He straight up left. Gone. Poof.

Well, the trick is in that DC's not using something that literally couldn't possibly be aimed around Quinn.

Rather than a cannon.

Unless Quinn gets in the way despite DC's aim...

...wait, WHAT!? That's impossible...

At the taunt regarding Crimson, Quinn aims her short sword in a two-handed stab for Cal's throat.

This means when he vanishes, she stumbles forwads, right into the bullets.

Khiansa blinks forward and kneels over Quinn's prone form(?), attempting to heal her with teh magicks with one hand, and magnetically draw out the bullets with the other.

Skrall2 sees that and reacts. He'll run and dive to tackle Quinn out of the way of the bullets. At least, that's what he's hoping for.

DC seems to be rather... Frozen.

Gun still pointed that way, with the same horrified expression.

Quinn has the bullets drawn out and is healed, at least visibly, but remains...quite unconsious...

The Black Fox turns around and starts to walk to the HALO portal.

Khiansa sighs and attempts to carry her to the infirmary.
"You wanted to talk to me, Vice-President?"

And the unconsious Punching Bag of GLoG gets carried back to her regular resting place.


Her unconsious mind reaches out for Tobias insticitively.


The proximitiy of the 'wrong Tobias' might mean he feels it.

Tobias stops and turns around as he connects with another mind.

DC doesn't turn to face Khiansa. Yes. Of course. I'm... sure you know about the prisoner escape, r-right?
