It might be worth noting there's a shiny resurrection-sized diamond right on Corentin's coffin, waiting politely for any cleric that might be in the area. No sign of who put it there, it's just some anonymous gift ready to help out when needed.

Butler shakes his head. "I don't know Vidalia ma'am. I looked earlier and Quinn seems to be unconscious Vidalia ma'am. And I haven't seen anyone else that works Vidalia ma'am."

Suddenly Alex goes to pull Alexis into a tight hug.

Um, how would he know that?

He only saw the true form of the White King, what Alexis saw was an old man in white clothes.

Quinn doesn't respond to Misaki mentally, but she does seem, slowly, to become brighter mentally, spreading...

And then with a start, she sits up in the real world, her eyes flying open.

Alexis gently brushes at his hair. Hey, I know. Don't worry.

Comically, Misaki is still focused inward and doesn't notice Quinn waking up for real. She sits on the chair, curled up with an adorable expression of determination on her face. ~Quinn? Quinn? Hello?~

Vidalia takes the diamond, so no one else can steal it. I think.... I may be able to still get the duke to revive Corentin.

[Reinholdt]

"Are you sure that's wise Vidalia ma'am? We still have time Vidalia ma'am."

Alex nods, and finally goes to let go, smiling softly and gently putting his hand to Alexis' cheek. Promise me you'll be careful. Please.


Quinn shakes her head, then looks over at Misaki. And can't help but have a ghost of a smile for just a moment. ~Right here in front of you, sweetie...~

Misaki blinks and turns her head towards Quinn. "Quinn!" She leap-tackle-hugs Quinn. "I was really worried!" She didn't get much sleep last night, either.

Butler, have I ever done anything unwise?

Butler tries to think.
"Well... ummm... not that I recall Vidalia ma'am."
How about sleep with Jaren?
"Nope, nothing ma'am." Recall must not be his best ability.

She leans her head into his hand. I will. And I have my knight to watch over me.

Quinn falls flat on her back!
And hugs Misaki back, but she looks very sad.
Thanks... she whispers, sounding very sad, too.





Alex blushes, and nods a little. I swear that I will protect you to the best of my ability, no matter what.

The duke.... should be... on his way..... Vidalia colapses.

"Quinn? Quinn, what's wrong?" Misaki hugged her tightly.

Thank you. She leans forward to kiss his cheek.

"VIDALIA MA'AM!"

Butler immediately scoops her up and rushes her to the infirmary to get help.

And Alex blushes some more!

It's...complicated. Quinn sighs. Just promise me you won't ever turn evil, alright sweetie?

Misaki looked up at Quinn curiously, but nodded. "Okay, Quinn. I promise. But I wouldn't have done it anyway."

Butler rushes into the infirmary and puts Vidalia down near Corentin.

And looks around for help. "Quinn ma'am! You're better ma'am. That's great ma'am. Umm... could you help me ma'am? Vidalia needs you ma'am." Not those pesky med-drones.

She tries to press her lips softly against his.

Anyone that looks to aid Vidalia will note that she is just exhausted from over exerting herself. Though, only Butler may know what it was she was doing that overexerted her.

Quinn smiles wearily yet happily at Misaki, then grabs a robe to cover her Swiss-cheesed clothing as Butler rushes in carrying Vidalia.

And, after her diagnosis, hooks her up to an IV of Gatorade.







Alex is taken by surprise! And kissed!
And turns bright red!
And kisses back, just as softly!

Alexis pulls back a moment later, bright red. I, uh...

"Thank you ma'am." Butler looks at Vidalia worriedly. Then at Corentin. "You can bring people back from the dead, right ma'am?" Somebody around here can...

Yay for awkward moments!
Alex does manage to smile, though.




I can, yeah...oh gods, Corentin! What happened to him? Quinn asks frantically.

Misaki stands by, covering her mouth and going pale as she realizes there is a dead man in the room.
