Ghoul2:
The creature looks at his left side where Arzimon's blade cut deep, and looked at Ivan with an exasperated look before twirling around with his left claw outstretched and targeting the warrior's face while the second follows through down across his stomach. Finally, the ghoul once again tries to bring down his food by latching on to his neck with his teeth.

SpoilerWhat, wasn't ghoul 3 turned? He'll flee no matter what unless I attack, he shouldn't be hitting Arzimon.
Kelsin begins moving towards the ghouls, putting up his shield, drawing his sling, and loading it with a pebble he found on the ground.
SpoilerOne move action to head towards the ghoul(s), with a free action during it to put up the shield and pull out the sling. One free action to pick up a pebble (drawing ammo), and a move action to load it. Is that right?

As the last remaining ghoul falls dead, the three can hear a low chuckle coming from the south corridor near them. If those near to that corridor (Arzimon and Ivan) look down there, they can see a rather tall emaciated creature with an elongated face at the far end, it is too dark to tell what exactly you are staring at, and you don't have much time to figure out either, as the figure slowly starts walking away from the party. The voice that speaks to you is harsh, raspy, and cold. I can wait for my food, unlike my lesser companions. You have provided me with entertainment with which I have not had in decades...we must not let it go to waste.

Since your party won't help you, I will :P. Given the fact that you figured out what you are fighting are indeed ghouls, you recall a class taken by all priests of the Caretaker to gain knowledge on some of the more common undead. You recall that ghouls are a pack of rather savage undead creature that retain some sort of intelligence after death, and it is very often that they are ruled by a 'pack leader.' In many cases, this leader is simply a more 'evolved' form of the ghoul, a ghast. However, since ghouls are - according to your class - low on the undead chain, any number of superior undead creatures such as Vampires, Lichs, Mummies, and even Bodaks could take the place of a leader. It is also not entirely possible to rule out an insane necromancer, as well.
Everyone else:
The voice does not respond to your threats, and leaves you alone in a corridor full of lifeless corpses.

"Very well, Ivan. We shall rest, although a corridor filled with destroyed undead and a new enemy hovering over us does not seem the most restful of places."
Seeing that Ivan is taking first watch, Arzimon will make arrangements to take second and then begin to trance.

After 12 hours of rest: Mid-Morning of Day 3.
Each of you go through your four hours of watch rather tense, as you hear things that sound inhuman, and even at the slightest sounds of movement, you are all but ready to pull your blade, and alert your friends. However, much to your satisfaction, you find that nothing interrupts you during the long 12 hours or rest.
