I got to make sure Shizune doesn't get taken out tonight. Gaurd duty. Right if it is what I have to do I have to do it.

Ashley searches the room carefully.

Shizune

"Ashley, is everything okay? What are you doing?"

Shizune finds nothing in the room. In fact, the room looks completely normal.

A list of the 16 competitors in the tournament is being posted.

Shizune looks over the list. "Butlers, some full of himself guy, Haruhi, a few bad alliterative puns... Think we have a shot?"

"Sure, just as long as your never alone. With so many contestants in the hospital we should be cautious between observable events. I wonder if captain Nagi gave Reed the information he needed to find his sister."

Shizune

"You're right, I guess we'll have to be careful."

"Want to go out and explore some more of the festival?"

"Sure. I think that might be ok. I didn't see much on my own."

[Verlaufen]

Shizune

"Alright, then let's go." She exits the hotel and begins wandering.

Wherever it is Shizune is

Shizune sees a very large number of performers: jugglers, clowns, animal tamers, etc; they're setting up for a parade.

A pair of amateur sword fighters obscures a view of Shinobu chatting with a woman.

There is a booth handing out free cotton candy. A little girl in a pink dress holds a portion of pink candy the size of a car.

Posters are going up advertising the matches in the tournament. A small picture of Shizune is located near the bottom, along with pictures of the other contestants.

Ashley checks out the first match for Shizune, including her opponent and start time with location.

Shizune's next match will be in the morning at Gravy Canyon. She will be fighting Leon Serge.

OOC: Yeah, sure, let's go with that.

ooc sure was waiting on a call to help reed search for sister or shizune to lead off into the fair but next day sounds good.

[OOC: Skipping to the next day would be good. I'd actually be able to know what the heck is going on!]

Night passes and a new day begins.

You're awoken by a parade occurring outside. The streets are filled with performers and sandwich-shaped balloons.

Hikari awakens from her sleep, streeetching out and looking up at the ceiling. She whimpers, rolls over, and promptly folds her pillow over her head to drown out the noise.

Shizune

Shizune sits up and looks out to the parade.

"Today's the day, I guess. All but 16 were taken out... Writers being too lazy. Whatever. Gotta be careful."

She changes into a maid uniform, and goes to the kitchen to put on an apron.

[UglyPanda]

Upon entering the kitchen, Shizune sees a flash. The bottle of soy sauce on the counter now has a massive hole through it.

OOC:
Which kitchen?

[Verlaufen]

OOC: I forgot we weren't on the ship.. I don't know what kitchen...

IC: ...

...

"What just happened?"

[UglyPanda]

Hotel's Kitchen

There is another flash. The staff in the kitchen starts to panic and run for the doors.

This time a bag of flour was blasted apart. The flour floats in the air, making it hard to see.

Shizune

Shizune screams, and tries to find her way out before she's the next thing to explode.

Ameko manages to get out of the kitchen.

There is another flash, and the door behind her gets a third hole in it.

[Verlaufen]

Shizune

Shizune rushes back to the rooms, and tries to find anybody from the ship to explain the situation to.

[UglyPanda]

As Shizune tries to run up to her floor, there are several more flashes, and several more explosions.

She then finds that all the elevators are out of order.

OOC:
Roll something.

[Verlaufen]

Shizune

"What the hell is going on!? And what plot hook is this going to lead to!?" She desperately tries to avoid the flashes.

There is another flash, and a hole is formed in the hotel's expensive rug. The people in the lobby are panicking and running out of the hotel.

The sound of someone loudly cursing can be heard, but the source can't be seen.

[Verlaufen]

Shizune

"I can check with the others later. Right now, I just need to get out!" She bashes the alert function on her watch and tries to run out of the hotel and to supposed safety.

Ashley wakes up not quite sure when she fell asleep, she was supposed to be guarding shizune.

Ashley finds that the elevators are out and her room is on the 24th floor. If she wants to help out Shizune, she has to figure out how to get to Shizune.
