Magtok double-checks her post.

Happy. Nice to see you again, it's been a while.

Magtok smiles briefly, before turning towards the Bulletin board with a notice.

Hi everybody. Remember that pesky, irritating, bald-headed eccentric nutcase named Magtok? Well, in case you haven't heard, I'm back, I crawled out of the fiery pit I was dropped into, and I'm not going to let that happen again. There, now that I've done this, the "OMG YOU'RE BACK NO WAI" conversations can end.

Abgail runs up to Magtok. Hello! I'm Abgail! Who are you?

Daisuke walks up behind her and watches. Magtok...

The funny thing is, he has no ill-will towards Magtok. Hating him would just be a waste of time.

Magtok looks at Abagail, and then at Daisuke. What is this, some sort of test? A horribly flawed scheme to see if he'll try to punt Abagail away or do some similar silly evil against the child whilst in plain view of someone far more powerful than himself?

I'm Magtok.

Normally he'd stick in "friendly neighborhood supervillain" "and I don't trust you", or even "and I'd rather you leave me alone, midget" at the end of that sentence, but with Daisuke watching, he decides to err on the side of caution. That caution includes ignoring Daisuke's muttering of his name completely.

Daisuke looks at Magtok. I don't really have any ill-will towards you, Magtok. Fatherhood, even if she is an adopted child, does wonderful things for your perspective.

Not punting her away is wise, however. Because harm her and he will go nuclear.

Not a test, though. Abgail went up to Magtok on her own.

Magtok raises his eyebrow at that comment, and doesn't believe it in the slightest.

And why would you, even before fatherhood? As long as you've been around, haven't I always been fighting with everyone else to keep this sorry little world intact?

Magtok puts on his best smile for the girl, and would even pat her on the head to enhance the ridiculous effect, if not for the chance his hand might get sliced right off his wrist for that.

No no, I live in a big spooky cave in the mountains. It's safer, too far away and well hidden for monsters to get me out there..

Anyway, this is my adopted daughter, Abgail.

She holds up her hand to shake Magtok's.

DC and KR are likely to appear in the great room right about now as DC's player detects that KR's is around and such.

KR appears, and falls to her knees, clutching her stomach.
"Well that was an adventure."

And then she pukes. All over the nice new rug, too!
There's breakfast!

A drone comes over to clean that up.

"Yeah. Probably. I get the feeling she's going to come back and try again."

DC frowns. Well, she'll have to find a new hideout, at least, so that should give us some time...

Daisuke walks up. I get the feeling she won't come for you again.

That said, there's somthing I noticed... you've got a seal I recognise on you. Did she put it there?

Abgail runs up. Unca Daisuke, looks what I made!

It's a drawing. Awwww...

That's nice, Abgail. Can you let me talk to these people, then I'll look?

Hmmmm... okay!

"Maybe."
Still on all fours, she turns her head slightly and looks at Daisuke out of the corner of her eye.
"Yes. To block my powers, apparently."


((*whaps horngeek* Stop saying 'awwwww' all the time! e_O))

It's a simple seal to remove by someone else with spiritual-based powers. It will hurt a little...

The above statement is what is called understatement. It will hurt almost as much as that torture session.

DC shakes his head at Runner, and waits and stuff.

Okay. Infirmary

Daisuke will lead KR and DC to the infirmary. Once there, he will get her to lie down on one of the beds, so that he bask is upwards facing.

DC is led, helping KR along the way if it becomes necessary, and waits, worriedly.

Continuity grumbles, complains, and produces a plot-clone.

Quinn comes running into the Infirmary.

What happened?

KR complies. And wishes Daisuke would get on with it already. Did all healing have to take so incredibly long!?

Wheee!!! Daisuke was gone! The Roflmancer eyes Abigail hungrily. But hurriedly glances at Runner. The robot could see invisibility, couldn't he? He glances at Abigail. And then at Runner. And then at Abigail. And then at Runner. Of course, his head doesn't move through this, his eyes are just flicking back and forth behind the mask. He slowly lifts a gnarled, bony finger, and puts it to his mask's twisted imitation of lips in what appears to be a shushing gesture, before he races forward with blinding speed, raises his right leg behind him and... attempts to punt Abigail across the room(!), silently thanking Magtok for that charming OOC text.

Daisuke places his fingers at three points on KR's back. Near the shoulder blades and the middle of the back. As he does so, glowing symbols become visible in these spots.

Then the pain comes. This is all the pain of that torture session condensed into about half a second.

After that, the seal is released. Better?

Abgail gets punted. 3 type 3 security drones immediately pump all their firepower into the space where the roflmancer is.

Runner would pick up on any heat or energy coming off of him, if there is any.

Runner wouldn't notice him till he ran over to Abigale, though, as he wasn't paying attention.

If Runner can notice him, he'll probably be too late to stop the kick. But he'll at least try to catch Abigale.

And Abgail gets caught!

DC is... still waiting and stuff. Blah.

Unfortunately, the Sec-III drone's firepower consists of magic-sapping electro-beams and slow-firing nets, and aren't too great for 'pumping firepower' into a space like the Sec-II drones.
...
Or not, as the Roflmancer is sapped and shocked into visibility, and then netted.
"Don't Taze me bro! Don't taze me bro! Heeehaaahaaahaaaahaaaa!!!!!"
He convulses more and more as he is shocked, before more nets fall on him, completely restricting his movement.

KR grits her teeth. Then, as the pain goes away, she closes her eyes and appears to relax.
"Better. Much better."
