Sept curtsies as well, pretty good but she's probably done it before in her time. Why would you need a handmaiden? She asks curiously.

Well, a princess is supposed to have one, right? Patty giggles. She suggested it, actually. Of course, there's my calling to be considered, too...She smirks, and motions torwards her holy symbol.

Oh... She blushes a little. Enjoying the castle?

Oh yeah. Patty giggles at her...er...soon-to-be step-mother-in-law?'s...embarassment. I think Matt and Ari are enjoying it even more, though. She grins.

I'm sure you're to thank for that. She giggles and gives a small wink.

Surprisingly no. Patty winks back. Not yet, anyway. How long have you been here?

[SeptAngel]

Since last night. I felt like we should get away from the base for a while. Though, there is clearly another reason behind it she isn't sharing.

Patty isn't gonna ask if she isn't gonna tell. Well, this is a pretty good place to do that, aside from the folks wanting the girls to fail. She scowls a little.

She quirks an eyebrow. What do you mean?

Apparently up 'till now they haven't let girls serve in the army here, they're letting a test group through their academy now but some of the old-timers don't like that too much. Patty shrugs, and smirks. I think I set some of them right, though.

Of course, Matt probably needs to give her lessons in diplomacy.

I'd take it easy Patty. This is HALO. But I think we can try and help out. Maybe you and I could help these girls a bit. She suggests, not wanting to stir up a lot of trouble with everyone.

Of course, Angela is one of the recruits, undercover...

I guess. But if we're queen and princess - or one of the princesses - Patty smiles in Ari's direction -we probably should try. Maybe we could inspect the troops. Another wink.

We might be able to inspect them and put our foot in the doorway. I just think we should be subtle. Not go barging in and telling the 'old farts' what's what. She giggles.

Patty blushes. Well, I guess you might have a point there... It's clear she's already given out a piece of her mind.

Just think as it as making our guys lives a little easier. She suggests.

Patty nods, smiling. That works, yeah. She then tilts her head curiously. You know, how should I address you anyway, once I marry Matt?

Just call me, Sept. Just whatever you're comfortable with. She assures her.

[The Bushranger]

Thanks. Patty looks relieved. Most of the other things I could come up with aren't as short as that.

She raises an eyebrow. Do I even want to know what the other things are? She giggles.

Queen Soon-to-be-step-mother-in-law just doesn't have the same ring to it, Patty says with a straight face.

Even shortening it to QStbmil doesn't work either. She's far from keeping a straight face.

Patty can't handle it anymore, and breaks down in giggles.

Sept watches her with her own giggle, possibly a little more controlled.

Matt just watches Patty and Sept.

Patty grins and steps back so she can wrap her arm around Matt's waist. Shouldn't you be bowing before your Queen? she teases.

I would never ask of that. She smiles to him.

Matt stares at Sept, too stubborn to smile. Good.

She giggles and gently pats his arm. I don't get a smile?

Matt gets elbowed in the ribs.
I think I could use a nice soft bed after such a filling meal... Patty says, winking in Sept's direction.
