Seeing that the beast's corpse effectively blocks the corridor, Grigor shrugs and puts his tanglefoot bag into his belt pouch again. No gumming up the enemy weapons if you can't even get to them.

"I'll help you." he says and goes about helping to move the carcass out of the way.

Moonshadow keeps his eyes on the corridor, covering Halgrim and Grigor as they get the beast out of the way.

Even with the greased floor, the howler proves too heavy for Halgrim and Grigor to move.

Meggido

"Stupid gnolls."

Meggido grimaced as he stood to one side in the doorway, watching Halgrim and Lycar haul at the spined beast with - thankfully - their thick gauntlets. Meggido was not used to bluffs, feints and the subtle psychology of negotiated settlements. He had made clear to the gnolls what the consequences were of prolonging this fight. And every second that they spent facing off here was another second that reinforcements might arrive. So although it left him very nearly depleted, he did what he could to end the standoff immediately.

He lobbed a grenade.

Well, to be more precise, Meggido's eyes bulged slightly, and there was a sound not unlike that of a crystal decanter being thrown against a stone wall. A shard of silver darted from his head into the darkness. Meggido ducked back out of the doorway, his back pressed to the open door, breath burning in his chest. He listened carefully to learn the results, and shrugged at his colleagues.

After Megiddo’s burst, the chatter coming from the darkened area seems to cease, but a single human voice can be heard exclaiming, “What the hell was that?!”

Pushing his luck, Meggido yells back in his deepest, well, tenor.

"Unless you wish several more demonstrations, you will drop your weapons and come out!"

There is a prolonged silence in response. Shortly thereafter, the sound of wood crashing on stone comes out of the darkened area, followed by a few creative curses.
