As they speak, there is a little drone rolling toward the lab.

It's also beeping, so that might catch some attention.

Quinn goes back to work.

Brendan smiles and slips away to head to the Training Room.

[Jacklu]

Raril might feel something sinister in his cell. There is clearly nothing there, but a presence is certainly there.

[Detention Wing]

"Right." Raril sighs and sits back down on the cot before pulling a small silver harmonica frm his pocket. After inspecting the little instrument for a moment, he licks his lips and starts to play. The music is sad and dark, its notes ringing with despair, loss, and hopelessness.

The Drow notices the presence, but keeps playing. He hoped to seem like he hadn't noticed anything, while subtely weaving magic into his song to heighten his senses.

A thin, hoarse voice whispers into his ear.

"Do you wish to be free?"

The unmistakable presence of evil fills his cell.

[Artemis97]

Raril slowly lowers the harmonica from his lips. "Free? I'm never free, but what are you offering?"

[Jacklu]

"As free as one in your position can be. A physical freedom, but that is enough for now, correct? I will open these cage doors for you."

[Recaiden]

Ashna hears some faint talking, and walks back over to the door. Raril?

[Artemis97]

"Hmm yes?" Raril calls out to Ashna, for now pretending he wasn't hearing voices.

[Recaiden]

Are you asking me something? Or talking to yourself? That's probably not a good sign.

[Artemis97]

"You're the one who called me, Ashna." Raril replies, seemingly perplexed.

[Recaiden]

You sure you weren't talking?
She shrugs, not that Raril can see.

[Jacklu]

"I can open these doors for you now. If you are willing to complete a simple task at some point after you are out. And if you do so, I will be able and willing to free you in other ways."

The voice is low and it is very doubtful that Ashna will hear it from her cell.

[Artemis97]

"Pretty sure, but we both know I'm not right in the head." He laughs a bit nervously.

Meanwhile, his hands start working out a set of gestures few would recognize, drow hand sign. Can you understand this, O mysterious whispery voice?

[Jacklu]

"Quite clearly. Drow always were dear to my heart. Now, do we have a deal?"

[Recaiden]

Well, you would know. Try not to end up too crazy.
((short deadtime. Or maybe long.))

[Artemis97]

"Will do." Raril assures her.

Ah, good. Now what of this little task you mentioned? The drow signs to the disembodied voice.

[Jacklu]

"Simple enough. There is a woman here that wishes to end me. Take care of her in whatever way you see fit. Just make sure she never returns to this place again."

[Artemis97]

A quick jerk of one hand is all that's needed to ask Who?

[Jacklu]

"She is a priest. Easily identified. She dresses in a horrid pink and carries a cross upon her back. She will not easily be driven away from here now that she has picked up my scent, so you may be required to take care of her in a more permanent manner."

[Artemis97]

Hmm... no one he knew. But priestesses.. you don't attack priestesses.

I'll talk to her, but no more than that. It's just a lock, nothing worth killing over, right?

[Jacklu]

"Perhaps. But if you can take care of her, then I will be free to act with a fuller extent of my power. Keep it in mind."

The evil recedes rapidly from the cell. At the same time there is a clicking at the door to the cell unlocks itself. The vines will still have to be taken care of, but that is hardly more than a nuisance.

[Artemis97]

Especially since Raril's managed to hang onto his weaponry. He draws one icy shortsword and slices through the vines before stepping out into the hall.

"So long, Ashna. You stay safe, now, you hear me?" He calls, turning to walk out.

[Jacklu]

Charmain, the priest in pink, is currently in her room. Though... Raril wouldn't know that, would he? Maybe a drone...

[Artemis97]

Raril is indeed unaware of her location, and intent on escaping GLoG. With a mad cackle, he climbs the steps from the detention wing and up into the main part of the compound.

[Recaiden]

You know I'll be safe. You don't kill anybody else cell, hear me?
Look at that. It was a fake.
She unlocks the door and tries to follow him out.

[Artemis97]

(What was a fake? I'm confused....)

Following him won't be too hard, as I can't imagine there's many exits from the detention block. When she catches up to him will be the trouble, though. Hes fully armed and all parts of his shattered mind were intent on leaving.

((Nevermind, happy never took the key. But it would have been. Old suspicions of people die hard.))
She comes up the only exit to the detention block: staircase.
