Quinn jumps, a little, then laughs and bends over to scoop up Misaki into a tight hug! Hey there, sweetie! I was about to go looking for you!

[Dirk Kris]

Layla gives Jack a gentle kiss, then follows the catgirl.

Meridian, curious, hops down from Misaki's shoulder to follow Jack around.

[Neon Knight]

Jack begins to roam the ground floor, taking in the sights. He can't go into any secure areas, of course, but he can still get plenty of information.

Misaki cuddles up in Quinn's arms. "Oh, I just went out with Meridian. I left a note. And I met somebody!" She looks to Layla and smiles. "This is Layla!"

[The Bushranger]

I've been in here the whole time, I missed the note. Sorry, sweetie. Quinn (who looks like this), snuggles Misaki back and smiles warmly at Layla. It's nice to meet you. I'm Quinn.

((10 minute warning))

[Dirk Kris]

Layla extends a hand to shake, smiling faintly. She is STUNNING. "Nice to meet you. I suppose you can imagine my concern when I found her wandering the docks alone with no one but a ferret for company?" She raises an eyebrow over her caramel colored eyes.

Meridian watches from a safe distance, darting from one piece of furniture to another for cover.

Quinn (one night with Angela aside) is strictly into guys , but can't help but look a bit envious as she shakes the offered hand firmly. Misaki's pretty strong for her age. But I do worry about this independent streak of hers. She gives Misaki a little squeeze to show she's (mostly) teasing. That ferret is a good protector, I think.

Misaki sits in Quinn's arms and looks between the two, smiling.

Jack restricts his wanderings tot he area close to the infirmary. He doesn't want to look suspicious after all, just idle.

[Dirk Kris]

Layla nods, but looks skeptical about the part concerning the ferret. "Well, I won't keep you, but..." She kneels down and strokes Misaki's ears again. "...would it be alright with you if I came to see you every now and then? I want to make sure you're kept safe." She gives the little catgirl's nose a tweak.

Meridian, not seeing anything untowards, scampers back to Misaki.

[Neon Knight]

Misaki purrs happily as her ears are petted, and she eeps and giggles when her nose is tweaked. "Okay! I don't mind!"

[Dirk Kris]

Meridian twines himself between the catgirl's legs like a cat, then paws playfully at her tail.

Layla smiles and winks. "Alright, honey. I'll see you around." She heads for the door, spotting Jack along the way. "Hey babe. You ready?"

[Neon Knight]

Misaki starts and giggles. Her tail lashes about, getting excited.

Jack turns to Layla and grins. "Ready, darling."

[Dirk Kris]

Meridian continues to play with Misaki's tail.

Layla grins. "Is it surprise time yet?" She heads towards the door.

[Neon Knight]

Jack grins right alongside her. "Yes, yes it is. I hope you're ready." They'll arrive in a new thread I will create. This one here.

Misaki giggles and hops away, trying to keep her tail from his insidious paws.

[Dirk Kris]

Rawr. It's cute, not scary, as Meridian pounces at the tail tip...and overjumps it. He tumbles into a little furry ball a foot or so away, ending up on his back. A cute mental chuckle fills Misaki's head.

[Neon Knight]

Misaki giggles and goes over to him, tail swaying behind her. "Awww, did you bump your head?"

[Dirk Kris]

No. But if I say yes, will you kiss me? Meridian regards her from upside down.

[Neon Knight]

"Yes, I will." Misaki giggles and plants a gentle kiss on his furry noggin.

[Dirk Kris]

Meridian favors Misaki with a ferretty grin before rolling onto his feet. I love you. You're like the sister I never had. You even have a tail and fuzzy ears now, so it's official.

[Neon Knight]

Misaki smiled at him. "Awww, really, Meridian? I love you too."

[Dirk Kris]

Meridian nods. Yep, we're family now. So we'll always be together. He crawls up Misaki's dress in search of a pocket to snuggle into.

[Neon Knight]

He'll find one easily enough. She giggles as he tickles her a bit as he gets settled in the pocket.

[Earl of Purple]

Eko is in the Great Room. She's a lizardperson wearing a belt and a bandoleer. Her anatomy does have the result that it can be hard to tell that she is female. Her scales are brown and she has a tail.

Meridian yawns as he snuggles in. Always wear pockets so I can go with you everywhere, OK Misaki?
And he deadtimes.

"Okay!" Misaki pets the ferret through the pocket gently, but then notices Eko. Taking fright, she heads for Quinn's room to deadtime.

Two familiar faces make their way back to GLoG.

Bianca , who totally is not Vidalia, is sitting in the Great Room, waiting for no one in particular.

Marcos smiles warmly at Bianca, giving her a small wave. Hello, I'm Marcos.

Sunny and her robot come into the greatroom and sit by the fireplace. There's no fire in it, though, since the weather is warm.

The Not-So-Mini-Minidrone is on the floor of the great room, its batteries dead. Oh noes!

Vidalia Bianca waves at Marcos. I.. 'm Bianca. Pleased to meet you. She smiles. Sorry. Had a little hiccup there. Are you a member here?

Her eyes shift to Sunny. Damn Marcos. She thinks to herself.
