Doran d'Armstrong

Doran d'Armstrong yawned. He doesn't know what he's supposed to be doing, but he would much rather be out there. In a fight somewhere. Oh well, he thought. This might be interesting.

Greenbow

Greenbow continues to look around anxiously. Thought not averse to contact with others, they still make him wary. It is hard to use a bow in these close quarters, but Greenbow has managed to learn a skill or two to help with this. He has it slung on his back, at the ready.

"You look like a warrior," Doran said to the man with the bow on his back.

[greenstave]

"I prefer to think of myself more as a forest dweller, rather than fighter. But I have been able to handle myself in battle thus far."

[Nebuchadnezzer]

"Your anxiety belie the fact that you are indeed a seasoned warrior. You have a name, elf?"

[greenstave]

"Some would call that an excellent strategy! I am simply called Greenbow. Pleased to make your aquaintance. And yourself"

[Nebuchadnezzer]

"Doran. Doran d'Armstrong. A mere wandering swordsman. It's a pleasure to be sure."

[Dragon Elite]

A band of 25 marching soldiers, each weilding a sword and shield, walk by.
Places to explore in the castle: Obsidian tunnel, armory, shops.

Faile is leaning back against a pillar in the kings audience hall.

"I am not entirely convinced I would like to continue waiting out here...."

[Nebuchadnezzer]

"We are in agreement then."

[greenstave]

Perhaps we can look around while we await our summons? I am not an impatiant man, however I dislike being kept waiting, even by a king.

[Nebuchadnezzer]

"Very well, Greenbow. Let's explore a bit."

[greenstave]

I have heard of a vas armory in this place. As one who appreciates fine weaponry, especilly a fine bow, I would very much like to see it.

With that, Greenbow heads of to visit the armory.

[Nebuchadnezzer]

"I am a connoisseur of the varied instruments I can hurt opponents with. I shall go with you."

[Dragon Elite]

Inside the armory, there are three men in leather armor Hello. What brings you here? The man closest to you glares.Here to steal? I'd like to see you try.

You see a finely carved bow next to a set of three swords. It is of almost perfect calibur.

All the weapons here are very low grade, except for a st of half-plate that is very well built.

[Nebuchadnezzer]

"Oh, no reason really. Just paying a visit to the hard-working men and women of the kingdom." Doran said. "Tell me, gentlemen. How has the kingdom fared these past couple of days? Any trouble the king might want a couple of adventurers to solve? Things of that sort."

Faile remains waiting throwing a dagger in the air and catching it repeatedly.

The king's needs are not our business. There is a rumor though. He seems to be concentrating hard. Some say the king lost his source of his power somehow. I dunno what that is, but he might want an adventurer to get it back. Why do you wanna know?

[greenstave]

What can you tell me about this bow sir? It seems very well crafted

Greenbow then listens to the talk of the Kings source of power.

That is interesting. And if that knowledge is out, the king could be under threat. Are you prepared to guard him?

Of course we're ready to guard him! And what bow? He looks at you strangely. It's a bow. What else is so special?

[greenstave]

Glad to hear it men. I do not know about the bow. I was hoping you could tell me. If you are not informed of such things, that is fine.

[Dragon Elite]

We're not. Why would guarding the king involve knowing about bows?

[greenstave]

At this point, Greenbow puts his hand to his forehead.

Never mind.

He then turns to Doran.

Are we just about done here?

"Yes. Let's go."
