However, my location becomes extremely obvious when four glowing red streamers emerge from J15. They hover around Alita, coiling themselves like snakes about to strike.

It's the spell Streamers. They attack you if you try to take any kind of action. If you just hover and do nothing, they will eventually go away, but then you'd be giving up your actions.

I would note that I built Alita to withstand damage from 300d6 hulking hurlers. 40d10 streamers is nothing by comparison. If there is any observer watching the proceedings, can you please help me by confirming that the streamers were ineffective. Just post in this thread will do.

Well, since its touch attack, all those that didn't roll natural 1s (which are automiss), so 6 of 8.

Since Alita did not actually take damage, I would argue that the massive damage does not apply here.

I must correct my last description. My character has a quarterstaff in her right hand.

I cast a spell on you. Since you "see" the somatic components with touchsight, you recognize it as Destruction. The DC is 25.

I then cast Mirror Image as a swift action, creating a bunch of images that do pretty much nothing against your touchsight. I don't move, confident that I can not be detected.

Three enormous hounds bend and stretch their way out of the cracks in the ground and the criss-cross of the leaves of grass. They begin to circle very slowly. They make no move to intervene. Their rough shape is that of a barghest, though there is something off about their presence, as though the vast majority of their mass is somewhere else entirely.

What was your trick, anyway? AFAIK this is the first time the hounds have actually had to come out in a match, so you must have been up to something pretty ridiculous.

Blasphemy wouldn't work. She is immune to paralysis due to living construct type (and she'll probably use IHS to get rid of the weakness too). If you want to know her trick, now that the match is over, you could simply open the observer only boxes.

I must apologize for my share of annoying hangups in this match. I kind of get the impression that it isn't much fun fighting my characters.

At this point the creators of Alita will likely Epic Teleport in heavy reinforcements to hold off the hounds, retrieve her body, then epic teleport out.

Its an RP thing really. I had a backstory in my head up on who made Alita, and why they sent her into the dungeon. In the event of her system failure, they have already plotted a means of circumventing the Dark Powers, and sending in a couple of foot soldiers to retrieve her corpse.
