    Default The Gingerbreadening

    Every year, my wife and I do a Gingerbread House. It's a little early this year, but due to various scheduling conflicts, it was the best time for us to get together with my sister's family for the endecorating.

    I won't post the pictures here due to bandwidth issues, but I'll just link to my blog post: The Gingerbreadening if you're interested. It ended up being chock full of nerdiness: A Minion, two TARDISes, two Daleks, Crow T. Robot, and Cyclopean gingerbread men and penguins.

    We did cheat a bit with some invisible structural supports, but the rest of it is all handmade from scratch (well, we didn't make the candy, but we made the modeling "chocolate" and the sugar sculptures).
