I touched her hand and let fear into her hearth, she started to shake.

Falcon had liked the being male, it gave her an new perspective of the hunt, being all social, a true gentleman. But that was now over, it was time to hunt.

The illusions faded away, her unnatural sharp teeth could be seen glittering in the in the moonlight. She leaped, she had changed her mind she was going to have fun with this one in the old fashioned way, being male had really dulled her senses, her passion for the hunt.

Falcon leaped, away from the lone woman, watching her from the shadows, letting her live just a few moments longer, she wasn't going anywhere. It was fun to see how she backed away from the spot Falcon just had been a moment ago, how she looked around, trying to find her. No one ever did.

But a thought yet wandered in Falcons mind, how had she found her out? Her disguise had been perfect, she had given that role her all.

Oh, well the woman was not nearly as fun to watch as her other victims, she was still aimlessly trying to find her, how this pathetic being, not even worthy as a prey had survived this long was beyond her.

She leaped again, landing perfectly on her back and...

It is you who will learn a lesson Falcon

Light, burning light... she was blinded.. why could she not see? Everything had turned so bright!

It had almost been fun to watch them die, the thought had seemed strange to her at the time, but it had come naturally, as it have been hidden inside her all her life, just waiting to come out.

She had started to hunt mice at the manor, mainly to feed, the fears didn't seem to care about her anymore for some reason, but they didn't let her outside.

Soon enough the mice had become boring, she had wanted to move on to something more challenging and when a young boy had entered the manor, she had known just what to do...

The vision was suddenly consumed by light as she saw the boys face again, his fear for her. She started to tremble, feeling his pain, his fear.... No, no, no, please mom, dad I never wanted...

The light was now everything.

Rest in peace Falcon... Gabrielle whispered as she slowly walked away from Falcons burned remains.

Night 10 Ends

A moment's victory, after everything she had been through these past hellish months, finally a moment of victory. Falcon was gone, destroyed. That left only the Master himself, Soyer.

Gabrielle wandered the upper floor. The Manor held no real danger for her, its tricks wouldn't work against her. Illusions were easily pierced by someone that was already a part of the Manor, unwilling as that may be. She could hide up here from everything, just like Dee had hid in the Basement back when the mess had started.

But that was then. The Manor was weaker then, starved for power. Now the Manor was at its peak...

Familiar voices...oh so familiar...

Gabrielle froze. She wouldn't turn around. It was a trick, it had to be, he was dead, they were all dead...

She wanted to run away, but her feet wouldn't obey. Forlorn and long lost hope kept pulling at her heart, forcing her to turn around and actually look into those familiar green eyes...

Brandon... It came out a squeak, her voice just didn't have the will to work, caught in between warring head and heart...

Where am I? What's happened? What's going.... The words dissolved into a pained shout as a tendril of shadow wrapped around Brandon's legs, boring into the flesh beneath.

He was lying, she knew he was. He had to be. There was another way. She wasn't going back.

...not that it mattered. When she turned to run, she quickly found that she couldn't move. All she could see was Soyer's sickening smile.

Gabrielle began to sink into the floor. Bit by bit she sank into the otherworldly depths. There was no escape. Soyer turned to walk away just before she was completely enveloped.
