    I've added a poll to the thread, so if everyone wouldn't mind re-voting for what they've posted here, and those that haven't already could use that to vote instead.

    Paradise Lost is a bit too religious, or would at the very least, be too likely to lead to religious discussion, and has not been included.

    I'm kinda stuck between Brave New World, To Kill a Mocking Bird and Small Gods.
    I might go for Small Gods simply because Terry is one of my favourite authors though.

    I have too much work to be in the book club so I'm obviously not voting, but I'd just like to warn people that I read Anthem and it's one of the worst books I've ever read.

    Yes, but this is Terry Pratchett we're talking about: there's pretty often a message about real life. I wouldn't say he's discussing any one actual religion, but he is saying things about the real world.

    I suppose if you keep things at face value there shouldn't be a problem.
