Default Leap Attack + Diving Charge? Possible?

"You can combine a jump with a charge against an opponent. If you cover at least 10 feet of horizontal movement with your jump, and you end your jump in a square from which you threaten your target..."

"... Must follow all the normal rules for using the jump skill and for making a charge, except that you ignore rough terrain in any squares you jump over."

    http://www.d20srd.org/srd/skills/jump.htm

    "Charge

Flying creatures can use the charge action. A flying charge must be in straight line and most cover at least 10 feet (2 squares). A flyer can charge while diving, but not while gaining more than 5 feet altitude (unless the flyer has perfect maneuverability and can climb without losing speed).

If a flyer makes a diving charge of at least 30 feet (6 squares) and also loses 10 feet of altitude or more, it can attack only with a claw or with a piercing or slashing weapon. These attacks, however, deal double damage."

Can't gain more than 5ft of altitude, so using Jump, means limited to a 20ft Horizontal Jump distance (which works for Leap Attack). You also need to descend 10ft in that same time. However, there's nothing which forces Jump Checks to be done on the ground, and both Dragonborn and Raptorans have Jump Checks bonus' granted by their wings.

IMO: If your flying creature (such as dragon, homunculis, gargoyle, etc.) wants both feats, why not? So long as the minimums are met, the two should work. But it is all prequisite on the character having the ability to fly and if they have a fast enough flyspeed to meet the prerequisites for distance moved in a round.
    - not enough characters for Caladan Moonblade, my first AD&D character (Fighter 1 / Wizard 1) who was slaughtered the first session I played by a 10th level Vampire. This was the early 1990s.
-Currently playing 3.5 with the same name and character concept in my wife's game.

Do you really follow all the normal rules for jumping though? If yes, then yes, otherwise it has to be one or the other, no?

It would be a DC 60 jump check to make a 30 dive. Not impossible, especially for a thi-kreen, raptorian, or other race with massive racial bonuses to jump. Boots of leaping a striding also help. You should be able to get +30-40 to your roll fairly easy.

Leap of the Heavens would make it just DC 30.
Leaping Dragon stance would make it DC 30 and give a +10ft enhancement bonus to jump checks.

I think Raptorian would be the best for this seeing as they have a flightspeed.

So lvl 6 Raptorian Warblade in Leaping Dragon stance would need to make a DC30 jump from a standstill. Assuming 9 ranks in jump, +5 mod from 18 str and +2 strength item, +10 racial bonus. Puts us at +24 to jump with a +10ft enhancement bonus. So +34 on a long jump. So the check is no problem for them.

I think you need a fly speed to do the dive so Raptoran seems legit.
