Melody's enthusiasm was most unexpected. Reinholdt is caught without a prayer of escaping now. And is caught up and carried and stuff.

Melody will take him to the stairs that leads to her room. I'll be back down in a bit. She runs up the stairs.

A short time later, she runs back down wearing a pair of shorts and a t-shirt. Ready! Let's fly!!

She shifts her arms into wings.

Reinholdt can't help but grin a little.
Mostly cause he can't remember the last time he made someone happy like this.

He lifts into the air. Turning quite pink and doing his best to hide his face, though he has nothing to hide it behind, so it's going real poorly.

"Ready."

Don't worry. I'd get you turned back. Ashna smiles, and gathering up her things, heads for the door.

Brendan laughs, and follows.

And Reinholdt is a lot of things. Messed up mostly. But one thing he is under that scarred exterior and worm illusion is a cat.

He suddenly likes flying. As he works to try and sneak up on some of the birds from behind. He's recently feeling hungry...

The turned into orang-utang days were mostly a long time ago.

Well, that's good to hear. Hopefully there isn't too much Unreal Estate around the university these days, too.

As much as they can get, but that isn't very much. They do have some real real estate. Which is rare here.
Ashna takes out her map to figure out how to get there.

Brendan looks...not quite sure what to say to that, so he busies himself with helping Ashna study the map.

Sorry.
It's a ways north. A kind of long but not excessive walk along the bridges.
Ashna starts off that way once they find it.

Nothing to be sorry for. Brendan just doesn't like Unreal Estate. :p

Brendan, smiling, falls into step beside her, humming softly (and tunelessly) to himself.

[Recaiden]

He... probably has nothing to worry about.

Ashna walks along with him, and tries to join in the humming, even if it doesn't have a tone.

'Probably'. That sounds so...omnious.

Brendan looks over at Ashna, then smiles and goes to link his arm in hers so they can walk together, humming a tune he makes up as they go along.

[Recaiden]

Well, this city is one of the 9 places that might spontaneously become Unreal Estate. But what are the odds of that?

Ashna smiles and joins arms with him. She does her best to follow or compliment that tune as she walks.

Melody calms down after a bit, and watches Reinholdt hunt birds in the sky.

She cares not one way or the other about them, so she does her best to not hinder his hunting.

Reinholdt gets... none. He doesn't really have pounce advantage. Not even home field advantage. Oh well. At least some of the bigger ones didn't decide to attack. He is a little small to be doing this and some of those birds are HUGE.

He flies back to Melody, half-pouting, half-grinning. All disturbing.

So how goes the hunt? I see you didn't catch anything, but did you enjoy it?

Reinholdt looks at Melody a bit oddly. Cause it seems an odd question to him.
"Well... no I didn't catch anything. But yes. I enjoyed it."
Treasure hunting probably replaced regular hunting all those years.

Good. I would shoot one for you, but I can't shoot anything while I'm flying. She frowns. Oh well, I've never killed anything before. Well, except for a nasty tribble once.

[Reinholdt]

"Nah. Don't worry about it. Shooting is.... shooting is..."

Reinholdt shakes his head. "Don't worry about it. I'll get one later."

That's the spirit! Never give up. We could practice hunting together. I'll distract them, while you attack from behind. Or not. It's up to you. Melody begins flying in a crazy eight pattern. Weeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!!

"I'm not sure you have the attention span for it."
He does actually stick his tongue out too.

Melody stops and giggles. Maybe not. Does hunting require a lot of patience?

"Usually. Waiting is often a large part of it." Says the sniper. Of course he has patience.

"Though sometimes it's probably not needed. Really depends on what you're after I suppose."

I have some patience. It depends on what I'm doing. If I find it fun, I can be very patient. Like learning to fly, or herbalism.

Melody flies in circles some more.
