Don't worry, though. she smiles at him.

He flies on in awkward silence for a short while.. before turning to her and trying to kiss her.

(Blech... poor quality post alert.. I'm feeling insipid and uninspired. I have idea but no idea how to make anything flow at the moment.)

Anyway, she kisses back. She loves this. So much that she won't pay attention where she's going, and will probably crash if a building pops out of nowhere.

(... I know right. It's more that my characters are all poorly developed, I have no idea what motivates them. So making long posts with actual development/thought in them is hard.)

He stops kissing when they run into the building...Sorry..

(Oh. Well, you need to come up with motivations, then. I usually come up with my motivations for my characters, on the spot. Then I probably change them later, but nobody notices)

Ow, yeah, that hurt...at least I'm not carrying any weapons this time... she says, remembering back to how one of her wings got punctured. Then she remembers how her leg got broken, upon hitting the ground. Are you alright?

He slowly descends towards the ground.

She follows him down to the ground. That was nice. she says. She definitely needs to shape-shift back to whatever. I don't know why she hasn't.

Shouting does not make Gersemi appear. If Melody uses the weave, however, she might be able to tell that she's on another island nearby, and that something is wrong with her.

Reinholdt simply waits for Melody, not knowing how long it usually takes for Gersemi to appear.
But this isn't really about him...

[Smurf Village in the Forest]
Butler is taking great pains to not be seen. He remembers how the last group screamed and ran upon seeing him. He's even taken off his collar so he won't be heard. Carefully he lays down a very large silver platter and lifts the top. On it is a great variety of delicious smelling foods. Butler climbs the nearby tree to stay out of sight.

It isn't too long before the smurfs get scent of the food and start coming out of their homes and gathering on the platter to discuss it. The discussion doesn't last that long though, and soon Omnomnoming is to be had. As the platter empties of food, it fills with smurfs.

When it looks as full as it's going to get, Butler jumps from the tree and slams the top down. Little, itty bitty cries of HALP and What's going on here? are barely to be heard. Butler grins. Then frowns. Why was he doing this again?

Oh. Right. They were evil and invading. Butler nods and starts carrying the captured smurfs back to GLoG to give to Vidalia.

Melody, quite panicked, begins to search the island.

But after only a short time, she decides to try to reach out with the weave. There has to be some kind of connection between teacher and student, right? Right? Where is she Reinholdt?

Melody can sense Gersemi's presence, weakly, on a nearby island.

She's weak. Aaaaaaaannnd...... that way! She pointed in the direction of the island she felt Gersemi was on.

Melody headed that way, spreading her arms and shifting them into wings.

This island is larger than Gersemi's, and houses a small village of about 30 buildings. Melody can tell that Gersemi is somewhere in the village, but can't pinpoint her more precisely than that while flying. There are people about, but no one seems to have noticed a blue smurf flying against the blue sky.

About that.

The bridges have led down to a (relatively) wide open space with gardens, lawns and courtyards. Inside a set of arched gates of course. There's a massive tower rising up at the end of the path, and 4 others hanging a hundred or so feet up around it. As well as a host of smaller buildings way up. Here at least there are more bridges between some of them, and lights of all colors flickering around the tops.

There's a group of 6 people, probably students, walking out towards the gates, carrying bags of something. One of them is glancing about, looking around for something.

Some children point and shout, and soon, a little gathering of villagers is watching the two flying weirdos people approach.

Gersemi is not in the crowd.

Helen's still in her succubus form. So, angelcakes...I want you to answer honestly...do I scare you? Even a little? She's going to try to read his mind...'cuz she can do that.

He looks down... nervously... Yes. His mind seems to have accepted the fact that she is what she is.. however it still seems a bit caught up on minor things. Mostly just long being told that demons are bad.

She shapeshifts to her human-form that she's always been. How about now? Still scared? She smiles at him.

Well, that's actually not such a bad thing to be told. Helen says. But...if we're going to fly back...you'll have to carry me. Because I don't have wings right now.
