Oh, we can say the word. In my world, it means something different than the usual, but it's a useable word.

Really, being good is more about your concern for others. I mean, someone who doesn't bother with, say, marriage isn't evil. At least, not if they still care for their partners.

But being malicious isn't what you're supposed to do.

In my opinion, if people want to follow a strict code, they should be able to. If they don't, that's their choice as well. But as long as they keep in mind the well-being of others.
