[Acro] GLoG XLV: The winds of change be darned!

Oh yeah. you can set this room to be anything you want. Some strange magic thing, I think.

Anyway, put your swords and all but one dagger down.

She waits for Helen to do so. First, I'll teach you how to approach your target without being seen.

This dummy has sensors on it's back that will detect your attack, if you are not stealthy enough. Bianca pushes a button and the dummy begins to randomly move about the room.

The object is to get into postion, wait for it to pass, them come in behind and strike with a deadly slice across the throat, "killing" it instantly. Watch.

Bianca moves to a shadowed area of the room and waits. And waits. Finally, the dummy approaches, and she seemingly easily slips out of the shadows and slices the head of the dummy clean off.

Now you try. A new, untouched dummy appears and begins its random movement.

((Whenever Helen isn't quick enough to do get a quickk kill in, the dummy gives her a shock to the mid-section.))

{Rose Garden}

Vidalia leans over and whispers into Butler's ear. Smurfs are evil. Capture all smurfs.

She only has one dagger...but she calls it a sword. And she's named it too. Petrovich. Wow...that's cool. she breathes.

Okay... Helen gets her dagger from wherever it was with her tail, and puts it in her hand.

She sneaks off into a shadowy part, and she also waits.
When the dummy gets near, she lunges forward...too early, and too slowly. Ow... she says, crumpling to the ground from the shock.

Can I try that again?

[Reinholdt]

{Rose Garden}

"Mmmmm... yes Vidalia ma'ammm." He half mumbles, almost incoherently and nodding. No doubt easily impressionable enough so when he wakes fully, he'll believe it entirely.

[Lex-Kat]

{Training Room}

Of course. You're to continue trying until either you do it right ten times, in a row. Or, I tell you the training is over, understand?

{Rose Garden}

Vidalia smiles. Adam is evil and vile. We will lead a revolt against him, after catching the smurfs.

[training room]

That sounds fair. she says.

She grabs the dagger with her tail again, because she knows that her tail is very dextrous (hehehe!).
She goes back into the shadows, to do it again...and waits...until it gets closer. She learned from last time, to wait a bit longer...

Finally, she lunges out, starting with her good foot (for more speed), and spins around, letting her tail whip around, the dagger cleanly slicing its head off. But she still falls to the ground, because she was imbalanced.

Better? Helen asks.

[Reinholdt]

{Rose Garden}

"Adam is e... wait... what Vidalia ma'am?" Butler forces himself awake. He's clearly more tired than usual after these things.

Though Vidalia, seeming rather not quite Vidalia like, may not recognize this.

Butler looks at Vidalia with big innocent looking eyes.

((deadtime for 20 min. or so))

{Training Room}

Better. But not good enough. Bianca gives her a smile, to let her know she approves. But you need to learn to do it with your hand as well.

{Rose Garden}

Hmmm? I was just watching you sleep, Sweetling.

Vidalia gives him her own innocent look.

[Training Room]

Okay... She does it again, this time with the dagger in her hand. She manages to do it sloppily, and not perfectly, but it works... Like that?

Just in case you're wondering, she'll do the next 4 times better each time, but on the time after that, she's going to trip, and fail dismally. And get shocked. So she'll have to start the count all over again.

{Training Room}

After a while, but before Helen gets it right even eight times, if she ever gets that far, Bianca will make the dummy disappear.

That's good, for now. You are getting much better. You will be sight to see, once the cast is gone.

Now, take these daggers.... She opens a case full of throwing daggers. I want you to throw them through the hoops, like this.

She takes one and after a bit of aiming, she throws it almost perfectly through the hoop, the handle barely hitting the top as it passes through. Damn.

But first, do you know how to properly throw one?

Mmm...no. I don't know how to throw one. she says. Unfortunately, she doesn't. How do I throw one?

Her tail grabs her named dagger from her hand, and hides it back wherever it's been hiding.

{Rose Garden}

Butler looks confused for a bit. "I thought you said... nevermind Vidalia ma'am. I must've been dreaming or something Vidalia ma'am." He shakes his head. And starts thinking of ways to capture those evil smurfs. Cause they needed to be captured... for some reason. Right! Cause they're evil of course.

[Lex-Kat]

{Training Room}

Okay. You hold it like this. Bianca shows her how to hold and throw them.

She'll then watch as Helen practices.

{Rose Garden}

You seemed to be at peace. Vidalia smiles. Well, let's get dressed and get something to eat.

[Reinholdt]

{Rose Garden}

"Well of course Vidalia ma'am. Things are much more peaceful and happy with you around Vidalia ma'am."

And there's no icky Corentin to get between them.

"Right away Vidalia ma'am. What would you like me to make you Vidalia ma'am?" He asks as he slips his shorts back on.

[Training Room]

Oh, okay. Like that. She practices throwing daggers with her demon claws (Yes, she has those too! She should shape-shift to an easier form...but I don't know how that would work with the injuries.) She gets better every so often after practicing.

[Lex-Kat]

{Training Room}

Good. Okay, practice is over now. You can continue to throw the daggers, if you want. But don't try to restart the dummy without me here, okay? I'll see you sometime tomorrow.

{Rose Garden}

Vidalia smiles and gets dressed herself. How about spaghetti? Vidalia crawls out from under the bush.

Okay, goodbye. she says. She grabs her swords again, but continues practicing throwing daggers... (except for the one that she's named "Petrovich". She keeps that one hidden.)

[Reinholdt]

{Rose Garden}

Butler crawls out as well.
"Spaghetti sounds good Vidalia ma'am."
Which he'll then head in the kitchen to make.

Vidalia joins Butler in eating spaghetti.

Butler gets an idea of how to capture those mean old smurfs while cooking!
He'll have to settle for NPC smurfs from Outside for the most part though, he's guessing.

Oh. And that one big smurf. Melody was it? He didn't know much about her and hasn't seen her in a while. She would be harder to capture.

[celtois]

Celi wakes.. up and looks around curiously... Had he dozed off again? How long had it even been. His bleary eyes tried to take in the room around and failed. He blinked back the remnants of sleep from his eyes his vision clearing and focusing. The pool. He rolls over and slowly stretches like a cat. Mmmh The floor isn't the best place to sleep. He gently rubs his neck..

@V (I know.... I don't have the most normal sleep patterns... or life in general.)

Helen's just about finished practicing throwing knives in the training room.

And other stuff happened.

[celtois]

Celi.. starts towards the great room and the main door. Seems like a lovely night to go flying. He tries to pat down his tangled hair with his hand as he makes his way to the door.

(As said above... I don't sleep at normal times.)

Helen finishes training, and walks back up the stairs, wherever they lead.

She's in her succubus form...~6 ft tall, one of her eyes' really really nasty (blood, and burns, but not on the actual eye part, just around it), and a cast on her leg, and each of her wings are patched up. But she's still in the dress.

(Ooh, guess what. I just found out that succubi can teleport.)

She'll most likely stumble across Celiaire on his way out. Hopefully. Or not.

[celtois]

She will probably see him.. Standing by the door. His eyes are closed and his back too her. A cool night breeze is emanating from the doorway. He sighs happily and stretches his wings.

Hey Celiaire! she says. Then...thinking, Oh, no! He's never seen me in my normal form before...I've got to hide.

She starts to inch away...

[celtois]

He turns around.. Hi..... Oh your hurt. Wings... tail.... one problem at a time. He walks towards her quickly... May I help?

Oh...well... she looks at her leg, then her wings. I used to have an eyepatch...but now I'm better. I've been to the Infirmary. she says. I'm probably scaring him to death...

[celtois]

You sure... I've sung people better before. If you want I could..... Heal, don't worry about changes... you already knew what she was.

Oh, yes, he could heal me! Finally... Okay, sure Celiaire. That sounds great. She smiles at him.

Okay. He starts to softly sing in celestial. Arem, arem dia dii areth areth dahth ain dahth ah. Celi swo. With each note positive energy hangs from the air. It should heal her wounds..
