The parts of the ooze that has not expanded from the fire reshapes into something more solid, namely into the shape of giant spiked mallets. The ooze around those areas solidifies to a consistency of iron. The ooze attempts to hit Stompy with 4 of them.

The party unloads all they have on the ooze, the ooze shudders then expands again as the flames of the almighty breathing one. the party that runs around the corner do not see but most certainly hear the sound of compressed air being released in a massive explosion of flying goo. everyone that has not moved more than 40 feet away need to make a reflex save.

the particles of the ooze explosion solidify as it pelts the people within range, some of the shards are sharp however and anyone that failed the reflex save of 16 will have to make 2 fort saves, a will save and one last fort save or be infected.

As the party finishes the looting and feeling slightly sad (if at all) of the Crusador Ruby Knight Vinidicator's gooification the party once again notices the Lizard Chef poking his head out from the other side of the door to the kitchen.

"Is that horrid abomination dead? I knew that there was something in that storeroom all these years...its a good thing I didn't let my curiosity get the better of me when I was tempted to open the barrel all those years ago..."

Samael looks at the ooze strangely, and points the construct at it to gently poke it. "What happened to the gnome? You figure he got dissolved in the ooze like those lizardfolk?"

At the same time, he turned back to the head chef. "We should continue toward the shaman as quick as possible. The great dragon sent us to attempt to retrieve the crystal with all haste. Can you guide us?"

The Lizard cook regards Samael for a moment and said, "My master said that he would personally fight the lizard priest when the moment is right. I trust in his great power so I will wait until he personally calls for me."
